I love your magic word for you, mine is release and is releasing all the things I don’t need anymore (decluttering physically and mentally). For laundry, if you have machines at home, something that works well for me, I figured out how many items make a good fit for laundry machine and for how frequently I want to wash things. Around 14 pieces of clothing, or a small laundry basket, fits what I have the energy and time and resources to manage in a day twice a week with a third day for the underclothes and a fourth day for the towels. The towels washing around the 27th of each month is where the shower curtain gets washed and then rehung in the bathroom to dry. For me I do clothes on Thursday and Monday morning to start, and undergarments on Friday morning, with towels when needed on a different day. Some weeks we don’t need towels as that hamper isn’t full yet. I also wash a part of our sheets and bedding on alternate weeks so they’re washed about every two weeks or so. Like I said, this is what works for us and my situation. Oh, the bedding is laundered on a day when the other half is around to help with putting the bed back together since that’s a huge energy expense for me. Just a thought after years of paying attention to what works better for me with finally diagnosed adhd and other things too.

I don't know how people can do such HUGE piles of laundry in one day, and put the clothes away too? I wish!! Planning by the size of the washer is the way to go, I'm right there with you. Though there's coin laundry here in my building, there's a laundromat nearby that is conveniently next to (and probably owned by the same people as) a liquor store. There are tables outside so you can enjoy a drank while you wait for your clothes. Such shrewd business people. 🍸
