Presenting you Kalpa to Nako an exclusive video from my Kinnaur Spiti Road Trip May 2018. Kalpa to Nako is another 100 Km and takes around 3 to 4 hours. The drive is extremely adventurous and offers a lot to adventure seekers.
Starting from Kalpa / Reckong Peo, the drive is very scenic and beautiful. I would say drive till Spello is very smooth. But after Spello the real challenge starts. From Spello to Pooh and then to Khab, the road condition is not good and at times are very narrow and a high too. The traffic is close to none.
All the time till Khab, you will be driving next to Sutlej river, which feels amazing. At Khab, you will get another goose bump, the roads gets more narrower and higher.
As close as you get to Nako, the roads conditions start getting better. At Nako, I take you to the view point from where you can see the entire Nako village and the Nako Lake. Very beautiful.

Amazing drive. The view of Nako village and lake in the lap of gigantic mountains was humbling. Its like a village in heavens. I never knew we have so much beauty in India itself. Thanks for sharing.

sorry for re-edited actually i forgot to add something that your camera angle was on the perfect position and clearly i abled to see the roads, the mighty moutains, river, waterfall, bridges, other vehicle passin by and even the sign boards on the road. thanks, im sure gonna visit but as im solo traveller so i can only option left to travel by bus from chandigarh to reckong peo and then kapla. thats it

My humble suggestions, date and time stamp when possible so we know your travel chronology. Many here will know it is always better to leave early and reach early. The reason is the roads are never predictable and thus having the spare time helps. Looking forward to your future videos!

This is absolutely very panamic view, which reminds us when we went for our honeymoon in Austria, Swezerland,, Germany and Italy, we crossed the Alps mountain in to Germany.

Planning to visit Nako Kalpa Kinnaur with family . Is it possible to travel in Wagon r comfortably?
Hi Saiby, you will have no issues in Wagon in Kinnaur. But if you plan to do Spiti, then I would not recommend. Good luck! Do give my video a thumbs up and Subscribe : )

Yes. You will find lot of snow and it will be very cold. So you need to be very careful about your clothing

Yes, you can reach Nako via Shimla. This road is open 12 months. But do check weather forecast. Though is remains opened all season, but during heavy snowfall, it may be blocked for a while. So make sure you travel in clear weather. Good luck.

Sir please advise me regarding mobile network from shimla to kaza.......
you will have no netowork issues till Sarahan. Beyond Sarahan, only BSNL works. No network in Spello / Nako

Does Google maps work here? Also, does BSNL mobile network works well here?
Its better to take offline google maps. From Spello onward no network coverage. Not even BSNL. Yes in Reckong Peo / Kalpa, network is coverage is good.
