Located in El Porvenir, Valle de Guadalupe, Malbec House, designed by Cesar Andrés Mancillas de la Torre, is a countryside residence focused inward, creating a haven for rest and recreation. The design considers the project’s location, sunlight, dominant winds, and the surrounding Valley, aiming to create an isolated, tranquil world. The discreet facade leads to a social area comprising a living room, kitchen, and dining room, transitioning smoothly from social to private spaces across the 10-meter wide and 40-meter long plot. The private area features bedrooms with interior patios offering views of vegetation and the sky, creating dynamic light play. The architecture and interior design use natural materials such as wood, volcanic stone, and natural fabrics, enhancing the aesthetic and providing a calming atmosphere. Completed in 2022 with an area of 251 square meters, Malbec House harmonizes natural elements with modern elegance, beautifully captured in photographs by Onnis Luque.
