Girl say that. I've been natural since last July. An the struggle is real. Cause I couldn't find nothing to keep it moisturized. Until I started using 💯 percent extra Virginia olive oil. It took away the dryness and the brittlenes. An my hair and scalp loves it.. I wish I could wear wigs. But I can't. I sweat to bad for it. So I just rock a messy fro until was day. Thanks for sharing your experience 😊❤
It doesn't necessarily have to be expensive either. So many of these natural hair lines really cost too much for what you're getting and have 1000 products to hook you in. I make homemade flaxseed gel and freeze portions for later use. One of the best and least expensive stylers I know (if you're in the US at least).
I love the black vanilla line, I’ve been using it for my wash and go, I need to get the whole line, the spray also , smells so good. Btw your hair looks great 👍🏾
From a white woman, I can see how much time it must take u to care for ur hair, but I'm so jealous of how pretty it looks at the end of this video! Love it!
Your Natural hair is so beautiful and amazing though????i hear u though. Now we know how to take better care. We HAVE TO GET OVER HOW WE WANT OUR HAIR TO BE.......AND JUST LET OUR HAIR BE...❤❤❤❤❤❤
I actually did cut it off out of frustration one time. It's still not as long as it used to be when I was a kid. I'm not sure if I'll ever really like it. It's more like I can tolerate it now.
@@univalent15 I have cut mine a few times 🫣🥴 I just cut it a year ago pretty short and it’s growing but retaining the length is another kick in the hip with 4C hair if you don’t know how to maintain it. I’m glad that you have reached a point where you can tolerate your hair 🫶🏽
@@lexlu3147 yeah it's better than nothing, which is basically my motto at this point. I'm going to try some herbal treatment to try and grow it out more
Soon as i even feel it coming i put in a protective style…even for a real depression i put my hair away, one less thing to manage daily bc black hair can be a stress trigger!
I've been hair depressed for 1.5yr. I don't have the time or money to care for my hair how I was able to so I keep twist in so my hair it's easier to deal with and holds moisture better. I miss my curls but I don't have the time
I think black women should stop feeling like our hair needs to be in a style everyday. That’s when it gets exhausting and you get hair depression when you run out of cool styles. Just let your hair be sometimes. Find a simple everyday style to wear most of the time and keep your hair moisturized.
Black women should be kinder to themselves and other black women Especially when it comes to natural hair bepause sometimes. Sometimes people criticize. Natural hair that doesn't have a bunch of products and make a network. You know, silky and Gracie and all that other stuff. Or even if you put product in there and then the product dries and it dries in a way that looks crunchy crunchy. Just remember where all the journey and sometimes you get it right.Sometimes you don't sometimes is not for lack of trying
It's because we obsess on hair and what other people think...Hair is hair...Wash condition, style and go or go to a stylist... It was more time consuming and expensive caring for my hair when it was relaxed (decades ago)...
Remember Black hair only grows half an inch a month. So if we our hair in protective style or wig for 2 months. Then we have 1 inch of growth. So just leave your hair alone every 2 months then u will see LOTS of growth. I get burn out. Then i see growth and im happy. The depression part when its summer i blow it out then the sweat from my head shrinks all my inches back to like 5 inches. Why???😅😅😅😅😅😅 its like we have to grow our hair 10 times longer to actually show its length. Then i watch indigenousstrandz to feel and GET SOME MOTIVATION.😅😅😅😅😅
F A C T S💯 I was never raised to care for my hair and I am a grown ass woman who don’t know how to even do my hair bcus simply I never could learn it in a healthy manner. If I try it now I would still be in a teen age mindset to become quickly impatient and grab scissors because of too much pulling tugs yanks vs gentle root to tips or start at tips then comb slowly. Point is its been 6 months seeing stylist bcus they force you to read but you gotta now work to pay bills…the fxxkery, the slavery. 😂😢😅
I feel this! I have really kinky, low porosity, fine strands and it takes so much gentle effort to care for my hair and keep it healthy.
So true. I just keep mine in flat twists until I get inspired.
This!!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🤍
I am burned out and have hair depression. I haven’t done my hair for over 2 months. Now I am just overwhelmed trying to fix it. 😢
I had a burnout and partially relaxed mine. Now I want to have a big chop but I want to try silkpress before chopping 😂😂😂
YES GIRL... NATURAL BEAUTY IS COSTLY...the TIME & MONEY WE SPEND is WORTH IT tho❣️
Very Expensive Facts!!!!!

I felt every single word but bay-beee this is so cute! 🥰
Haha thank you!!!!❤ 😅
U look so pretty! Love the side
Keep it simple and twist it up. Keep it moist and enjoy your curls (in twists). ❤
Very beautiful❤. 46 years old. 46 years natural. 46 years NEVER wore wigs, weaves, barely braids....❤

It’s so frustrating when people say you’re anti-black for being overwhelmed with your hair.
Prettyyyyyyy

"it is just hair" I've always hated that statement😔

We do too much.. I keep it simple and my hand is not always in my head...
We’ve been having natural hair since God created us.
