I come back to this so so much for its simple complexity, its boisterous whispers, and its reflective relationships to each musician. Such an awesome performance and I envy those who were able to witness this firsthand. Bravo JR and co.
Thanks for listening 🙏
20 million view would be a more appropriate number in my humble opinion.
so true this needs to top charts i am tired of artists who don't spend a fraction of the amount time these guys do perfecting their craft!
Crisp sound if the horn. Love the drum's rhythm. Nice touch by the guitarist against what's being played by John Raymond's sound. 👍👍👍👍👍
Hey everyone - thanks for digging this tune! Due to overwhelming demand, I've decided to release this track on our new CD "Real Feels - Live Vol. 1." It's only available as a bonus track on the physical copy of the album, and you can pre-order it here: bit.ly/2cIwhaF. Hope you can pick it up!!

John, I'm a trumpeter who has over the years had and given up flugelhorns. I have one again and puts me square in the frame of mind to 1000% enjoy what you are doing. Really beautiful creations. You should be so proud!
Everything about this is gorgeous, but the guitar work is beyond exceptional. Such a great use of effects pedals, complimenting but not overshadowing the trumpet. Love it =]
Not a trumpet, it is a flugelhorn.
Crisp sound if the horn. Love the drum's rhythm. Nice touch by the guitarist against what's being played
Love this, I've listened to it about 5 times in 3 days.

GriffinRSX WOOW, NOT SO FAST CHAMP!
It's an addictive track!
I discovered Real Feels few weeks ago and I relive stuff that I thought were gone. No word can express how this music touches the deeper me And I'll try to put some words on it anyway.... Of course I love jazz but this is different. I feel like some virtuosos of jazz have finally exhaled as a trio what my sensitivity has always felt could be possible. The sensitivity of some people of my generation I think. A generation of music lovers who think you can fusion jazz and jungle/drum n bass, that you can fusion jazz and old folk, no borders, let's explore new grounds. That you can play jazz, sounding like a post-rock progressive rock band sometimes, experiment new territories within the musical project, playing drums closed-eyes and smile and locking in with the guitar like mad and "be in the moment" meaning "be in the millisecond", open your ears while opening your heart and your soul. Problem is I cannot remove from my brain this tune and as well your version of "Atoms for peace" live at Blue Whale. It's always there those past two weeks... I need to recover. This is too strong... Congratulations on pushing the borders of music.
Such a rich sound with only three guys... Incredible

Yessss! Stoked!
I've just discovered these guys and this is the first track I've ever heard by them. What an introduction. This is 2020 cool!!! Great music just doesn't stop being created. (BTW I see the drummer had his wallet on his drum. Is that just for convenience or to affect the sound in some way - serious question as I'm intrigued).
the wallet technique is implemented most often when you want the snare to sound a bit snappier/tighter. i actually started using this method to improve the snare sound while playing in my band!
@@isaiahgendron2332 interesting. Cheers. Does it have to be specifically a wallet or do you have certain items for certain effects? I never knew this. :)
@@timparker4175 it can be anything you an think of, i've seen drummers use keys to get a certain effect, as well as, many other items. there's a band called GoGo Penguin, where the drummer builds little things made out of various materials and places them all over the kit! hope that answers your question :)
@@isaiahgendron2332 Cheers! Interesting info. I'll chat with the drummer in our band. First time I've heard of this so would be good to experiment
Sound. I`d rather call it somehthing that go throught everything. Its a light or short of serious or deep, whatever, that is a surtain something that goes throught it all like a stream. It is something that is not really without context it is in.
would reccomend listening on 1.5 or 1.75 speed, I accidentally had it like that the first time I listened and it's hard to go back gotta say
Please Let Me Buy This!!!!!
Oh geeezus freaking Christ...

This is truly amazing! I apologize if I sound dumb for asking this but does anyone know what pedal Gilad was using towards the end with all those crazy sounds he was able to make?
Not dumb at all :) You can see his whole pedalboard in a Reverb.com video he did a few weeks ago. The crazy sounds most likely come from a delay pedal, the Malekko Ekko 616 Analog Delay, and he bends down to fiddle with the Time knob :)
Cheers!
Super cool. How to get the fantastic music on iTunes?
