this is the second generation CLK and i think it has a much better roof line . before 2006 the clk AMG had a 5,5 v8 from 2006 the car had 6208cc v8 a very nice NA engine. that is delivering a very high torque level. over the full range so also a lower rpm the engine is still nice to drive without shifting back Always also with the 7 speed transmission low rpm on the highway gives the car a very good cruiser feel and is not to noisy. but when you want to hear the engine just push the throttle deep and it will come to live.
these cars are much more rare then the c63 models so at my opion as better as a investment car. i think if this car is kept as a summer Sunday driver it will not drop in value and will go upin price in a few years.

Love your videos man , I currently own one of these in black and I’m not thinking of selling anytime soon. Just wondering if you can help with some issues regarding electrical,
The first problem is keyless entry only works on the passenger side, second problem is the seat controls that are placed on the side of the seats are not working.
Lastly my engine light came up and after running the scan it says check secondary air intake , your help will be much appreciated ❤️❤️

I currently drive a clk200 avantgarde convertible but saving up to buy a clk63 while they're somewhat affordable
+Smithy i think the will keep there value pretty good it is the last big normall aspirated V8
apart from the w204 c63

Lol that's exactly why I love the Clk63in north america... If I needed a coupe there are a TON of them.. but a convertible 4 seats with the 6.2L? This is the ONLY one
Is the head bolt issue as common as they say and at what mileage does the problem seem to appear?
You have to check if you have the early design. Just take the cam covers of. If you have Them change Them out. Other wise you Will have to removed the heads And change much more parts. I heard of Cees with different mileage on the clock

Aftermarket will also be difficult but Mercedes will sell new Parts also for car that are out of production
Dude wrong info, the sls engine is different, other pistons other compression etc.! With a remap u dont go to 530hp!
Dude do your research before You act al 63 AMG engine's are the same and Will Go with a remap Just Above the stock power of a CL, Sl OR S model engine the have from factory 525 HP .
@@JMSpeedshop yes but he's kind of right and kind of not. The m159 engine have even different material for all the parts, improved performance mechanical parts, not just a remap. But yes as a design they are basically the same the m156 and m159
