Just last week, I purchased the 2007 version for $21,000, with 53k miles (here in the US) and I've been walking around with a silly grin on my face ever since! It's an elegant brute and loads of fun to drive. You're right about the exhaust note. I've never heard anything quite like it, but it's an absolutely gorgeous sound.
Best looking Merc. In many years. They have aged very well.
Better looking than the blobby look numeric has today.
I have the 55 CLK. It’s a fantastic car round town and touring ! The
63 motor was problematic initially due to valve stem issues.
Second-gen CLK has aged amazingly well.
These are so underrated! I have a coupe here in Perth, I love it! Fantastic tail happy monsters!

I originally purchased my clk63 so that i can swap out the 63 into my C55 but i was unable to do it because this car is just so amazing....it hurt me to tear it apart like that. Definitely an underated car😎👍🏼

Nice car!! Though after I discovered there's a BS coupe I can't even look at regular CLK AMG cars which don't have wide body. I wonder if Mercedes has a convertible CLK 63 BS deep on their shelvings where they keep some crazy cars which never made it to production? Rear seats are not for kids, but for 2 girls ! :D Or three! :D I know C63 does very aggressive exhaust sound but I'm not sure I heard the same note here. I'm glad Mercedes put their AMG engines in EVERY model while other car manufactures kept telling us "we have to shutdown production of this or that car due to lack of demand etc etc". Hard top in SL looks amazing but on the other hand it's much more complicated and expensive to keep alive. Nice car anyway!
I’ve owned one of these for two years now. It has been amazingly reliable, and cost lass the $1000 so far. It has 58,000ks and full service history. I’m tempted to ;CLK Black series ‘ it [body kit, wider tyres , and some carbon fibre, etc]. but it’ would probably devalue the car considerably. In New Zealand, these tend to go for about 25% -50% less than Austalian cars,. I’ve owned a black series clk and also had no issues with it. Both are are lot of car for the money. Check out trademe.co.nz and you see a lot of very cheap SL AMG cars , compared to your market, but you guys have luxury car tax which doesn’t help pricing. Keep up the good work, cheers!

Yes I know! It’s 6208cc or something, but called 6.3 to pay tribute to the old 6.3. I just got it wrong on the video!
