ok, I thought it was amazing that this weapon has a normal magazine, it's the only LMG in the game that has that, and I loved it

This weapon was already in battlefield 4 as the AWS
it seemed familiar to me.
That's actually the predecessor as it used the Ares Shrike model. Now, the Strife uses the newer Fightlite MCR Model.
Bro I Thought That's K2 For Sec Man But That's Really Good
That's a Fightlite MCR, a successor to BF4's AWS (Ares Shrke), and you'd also knew it in MWII/III as the Icarus.
Those was really stiff animations
The belt animations seemed smooth but then the mag version comes in
Same for me, very meh compared to the previous S4-S6 weapons having actually pretty good reload animations.
The reloading animation isn’t so smooth
its just bad

Animations are too stiff

Interesting detail with the Strife. The gun fires from a closed bolt when using detachable magazines.
