I'm so sad that they didn't give the Horned Warrior Greatsword the element switiching ability of the Divine Beast Warriors. Idec if it added any damage or not, it would look so fricken cool dude!
You could have milked this playthrough for a 30 part, 1 a week series (as many have) and instead put it all into one to watch at our own will. I appreciate the shit out of that, Domo

Domo I must say this video is ✨chefs kiss✨! I’ve been having to watch VODs of bushy, aggy, and chris bc I wanted to see their first reactions to the bosses AND their phase transitions. Also finding new places and items! Lot of them skipped over these things in their officials videos! Thank you thank you thank you! Might go watch your VODs for fun!
The timing on this upload is crazy , I just subbed to ur channel and was looking for the first dlc playthrough and couldn't find it and now u upload it a few hours later
man i had the same reaction to the final boss at first... it was amazing and i started crying as the music popped off. then over the next 3 days i slowly started to fall into despair as the fight pushed me to my limits, in a way that for the first time in any fromsoft game felt really bullshit. the closest boss i can think of as having the same problem as promised consort is elden beast pre-torrent, where it just feels like they're stalling out the fight with a large health bar and excruciatingly long windows where you're not allowed to attack. as of now, ive beaten him four times with different characters/playstyles and i dont know how they could have designed it better given the narrative constraints but something is definitely missing. maybe more breathing room between attacks like midra, or more readable magic attacks like rellana? its a hard problem and there's not really anything any of us can do to solve it at this point but i just know that a lot of my friends finished the dlc with a sour taste in their mouth and i think radahn deserves better.
Yeah, I agree. I enjoyed the DLC a lot despite some of its flaws. Really, its biggest flaw imo is that it's so empty compared to the base game. I don't mind the Scadutree fragments as much, but I know other people have a problem with it. But Consort Radahn was just... so wildly unfun, so ridiculous, it pushed too hard and to me it didn't feel satisfying to beat him. I didn't get that same rush I got with other bosses like Messmer, Rellana, or Midra. Radahn was just exhausting. The fight *looks* cool and the lore, to me, was interesting, but the actual gameplay was grueling
you know i never thought too much about the great rune breaking, but since you can find it in game immediately after that message appears, that must mean that Miquella was just ahead of us this whole time currently breaking his rune/
hey Domo, can you do a video demonstrating all the tools you use alongside elden ring in order to make life easier? Like Mod Engine 2, cheat table, save manager etc. my mod engine 2 crashes in specific areas with DLC installed. some guidance would be appreciated.
Somehow I managed to not get that black steel hammer. I definitely killed that enemy. Spent over an hour searching the area for any other enemies... Idk if I somehow accidentally sold it, but man.. hella annoying. Really want that weapon.
