I'm so happy that there's another bingo race again. I was watching just some of the other ones and now watching one for the dlc perfect. These are so fucking fun to watch. Props to the editors!
Square ideas: For revealing location, how about “Watch the drakes kill each other in peak” “Use the imbued key” “Kill all small hippos” “Kill the deathblight dancing lion” (because with the choice you will always go to Belurat) It would be fun to just have “Kill a boss with *new weapon class*” especially for the ones that are a little less meta or off the beaten path. Also, if you can implement it, being the last person to do something is an idea I’ve seen in other bingo formats that could work well here, like be the last to break Miquella’s rune or level Scadu. It may lead to weird standstills but also some great mind games!
How is that communicated? You would have to know that the other person has done the thing in order to mark the square for yourself. Would that require a player to mark a square for their opponent?
@@Nat_the_Chicken yeah, you would have to mark the square for your opponent, or just tell them to via Discord. Not sure how viable it would be, just an idea, I think routing may prove really interesting if you want to avoid breaking the rune for example.
All good ideas except the last part thing. If you got to 12 to 12 and the last square is "be last to do x" it would just be a stalemate so not great tbh
@@robertdunne1842 Well, if they make it so that a majority of objectives in the list are impossible without having already done all (or almost all) of the "last to do" squares, then that situation wouldn't occur. You'd just have to try to plan around how much you could get done first, and whether it was even worth going for that square or you just wanted to give it up at a certain point.
@@robertdunne1842 I get that, ideally it would be a goal that would be mandatory to complete at some point, but avoiding it would cause interesting challenges and weird routing. For example for Miquella’s rune, I’m pretty sure many squares are impossible to do without doing that first, so do you just accept it and go for the easiest and fastest squares, or do you try to get other squares first? Is it worth it to build up your character a bit if you’re waiting for the other player to trigger it, can you be ready to pivot and overtake them due to that prep as soon as the other player does it? It just has a lot of potential for the matches when casters get to talk about player psychology and history.
This is crazy whiplash after watching jerma bingo. The big squares were like, "kill this one major boss" and half of them were like "do a backflip after killing a goat with a crossbow"
DLC bingo looking great fun Not knowing all the squares possible, a couple of ideas for squares: To resolve the +0 Scadutree fragment issue others have mentioned, maybe "...with scadutree level 0 or level 12+" - make it both a rush OR late game square. might be annoying to find all the fragments, but maybe that becomes an exploratory side quest with interesting routing and time cost considerations "Kill a furnace golem with a hefty furnace pot" - feels like it could have synergies and is by far the most entertaining way to kill one
if there are going to be Enir illim squares there needs to be more Rauh Ruins squares so that it isn't so far out of the way. (Kill the crucible knight, and Romina, use the Rauh Light/dark altar, kill honsent in Rauh, I don't remember what items are up there but collect one of them something. 3 matches and no body went up there once.
Had a few ideas for squares: Kill Hornsent with Leda/Defend Hornsent, Acquire Ansbach's Bow, Kill a boss with a thrusting shield, Kill both (or just one) bear boss, get put to sleep by any means, acquire the full deathbird set, read the stone at the top of the Suppressing Pillar, Kill one of every horned animal (sheep, eagle, boar, bear, turtle), defeat a large golden sheep, get the great rune broke message, acquire 3 bell bearings, kill demi-human queen Marigga, defeat Midra naked, ram an enemy with Torrent, defeat one of the bird warriors, Give hornsent a scorpion stew, drink thiollier's special concoction, get madnessed by a sheep, destroy 2 spiritspring stones (no shackles allowed), give ansbach the secret rite scroll. Ok that was more than a few huh.
I think star0chris, Gino, and even Aggy all have a good chance of doing somthing like Divine Beast hitless. Otherwise yah, not the kind of square that all players can even do if they collect one scadu fragment lol
@@Mwang12 You can collect, you just can't use them at the bonfire to gain an advantage. Picking them up doesn't actually increase your level, so it would be equivalent to doing a boss at rl1 - you can't undo gaining a level, but you have to go through a menu to actually lock yourself out of it lol.
If you're looking for any squares to add onto the Metyr route (Bearing in mind that I don't know the full list of squares you have), you could tack on Fallingstar Beast and possibly both Tree Sentinels, and you can also do a "Collect both Thrusting Shields" to take advantage of the Carian Thrusting Shield en route to Dheo ruins (And adds onto the Gaius square as well) as well as a "Collect both Finger-Weaver's Cookbooks" square (You can get the second after the first bell when Ymir moves to the graveyard, and it's en route for the Anna invasion, but the first is a bit of a detour that'll force the question of "Do I want the additional square or do I want to outrace the other player for some of the later Metyr squares?")

From a viewer's perspective, having Graces unlocked from the start of Season 3 was a game-changer. Watching players set up characters can be quite tedious. Starting with 5+ Scadutree Fragments and some Graces unlocked (like Radahn) would significantly improve both pacing and entertainment value. Regardless of your decision, I'm eagerly anticipating the next Bingo Season! A small suggestion: If the season were held on Friday and Saturday, maybe Gino would participate. He's expressed disinterest in weekend streams and playing consecutive days. I'm still still hoping for a Gino vs. Catalystz showdown 🎉
hi domo i would like to recommend an idea of "special squares" which are some mid to hard challenges where if u get it u can pick a random square to claim or a better idea is that u delete an enemy completed square that will make the season more interesting and have more chances for crazy plays. also for the deleted square it should be only repeatable squares like a (+10 remembrance weapon or so) im also excited for the season and dlc squares keep it up

Why not have a "S tier" challenge pool or something. Only 1 can appear per board, and it is basically there in case people go 12/12 on the score then there is a crazy tiebreaker. But if I may, Aggy's board is much more readable on mobile, so if you can make it also bold on your side/change the font+size, it'd make us mobile peasants very satisfied :') Also, I believe they are called "Curseblade Ascetics" not assasins
If you're struggling with making the sorceries a bit more of a challenge, you could set it as "X dlc exclusive sorceries/spells" so you have to explore a bit more of the map and some dungeons rather than trivializing it with a merchant.
I've only just made it to the end of Match 1, but just in case it doesn't come up in the rest of the vid I'd suggest making the sorcery and incantation squares the DLC ones only so you can't just get a free square from reaching Ymir E: ok now I've finished the vid the sorcery change is good

For Leda's rune and NPC's weapon, you could get both through her quest by siding with her against Hornsent and then siding with Ansbach against her. Idk if that'd be optimal, but it's a choice if you're doing a bunch of squares at Shadow Keep.
Is it in the plans to have a bingo boards with base game AND dlc objectives ? That would be dope With a mod you could modify the entrypoint of the DLC to avoid doing the whole questline to access it, and that could open new strategies Anyway, nice video, really liked it !
I'm not sure if this might be too limiting or too hard to implement, but I think a square that's like "Don't Break Miquella's Great Rune" where if you're the first person to cause the Rune to break, the other gets the square. It could get a bit mind game-y and serve as an indication for what peeps are going for.

you can put the edit of what squares are going for, for the page, so you can like right click the square and put the highlight on, so you get more context for what its happening
I think the Radahn square should allow status effects but no parrying as i am afraid too many of the fights will look too similar and will not be fun to watch.
@captain_domo you mentioned using Bayle get the hitless square, but that says Remembrance boss and Bayle doesn’t drop a Remembrance. I love squares like this that are a little finicky. Will you change the wording, or allow Bayle or? Stoked for s4 proper
For the Radahn square, would it be possible to add the grace right before him to the map or would that break all the quest lines? That way people can fight him if they’re confident, similar to the Malenia square in Season 3, but you don’t have to do all the other bosses first.

you can put the edit of what squares are going for, for the page, so you can like right click the square and put the highlight on, so you get more context for what its happening

For the Radahn square, would it be possible to add the grace right before him to the map or would that break all the quest lines? That way people can fight him if they’re confident, similar to the Malenia square in Season 3, but you don’t have to do all the other bosses first.
