Racism is definitely an issue. Police misconduct is definitely an issue. But unless we limit police interaction w/ Black people thru more thriving Black communities it will never end. We need to focus not only on racism but building stronger Black communities. And that won’t happen if those of us w/ opportunity leave the neighborhood.

Calling Reed Thomas Sowell is disgusting given that Sowell is a paid shill of the corporate elite/right wing think tanks, while Reed he has spent the past half century supporting organized labor and arguing for policies that would benefit the vast majority of black folks, everyone but the elites, while race reductionist brokerage hustlers over and over advance the interests of a tiny stratum of the black population. God forbid someone call out class contradictions among black people rather than yet one more voice advocating racial Reaganomics.
