Remember, delay that gratification as much as possible. Make smart decisions, keeping your long-term future in mind. If you can do that, then you'll end up further ahead than most and your future self will thank you for it!

I've taken cues from my "old money" clients regarding wealth and how to live below my means without necessarily feeling like I'm depriving myself. My rewards for reaching milestones bring me great joy such as spending a few hundred bucks on several pairs of Thorlo socks lol. My mentor told me they'll make me feel good, have insane support and comfort, last long and bring a strange churning of self satisfaction with every step I take.
He told me it's about what I think the material things will make me feel, but I can have the upgraded/good feelings that won't cost me an arm and a leg.
Other gratifications I was guided to get into was to create experiences, such as a day out walking in nature to visually see how much abundance and beauty there is in the world, using Groupon for well deserved massages.
Thanks for your videos and sharing a wealth of knowledge and info

Awesome video. I'm hoping you see this question- I'd like to say that I'm a very focused person, having 3 plans: my 2 year plan, 5 year plan, and 10 year plan. On the other hand I am the most anxious 22 year old that I know. Since I was in highschool, owning property, starting my own businesses, and becoming financially free have ALWAYS fascinated me more unlike my piers that were very focused on "the now". What is your advice for a very anxious 22 yr old that understands the value of waiting and saving?

Patience and more patience. Some people accomplished their goals before than others and that doesn't mean that we have to lose hope. We just need to keep pushing and focus in the end result.

This is honestly one of the most important videos I've ever watched about building your life the right way without making stupid decisions with money. Thank you Stefan for providing content like this over the last 5 years of my life eventually leading me to start my own personal brand online.

Too many of us seek instant gratification on a day to day basis. I'm guilty of it and I'm sure all of you who are reading this are too! You won't become rich and successful unless you can reel in those impulses that are holding you back. Thanks for the great advice Stefan! It's time for me to make some changes

This is definitely a lesson I’m working on learning right now and trying to make a habit of living by. I’ve made some pretty poor financial choices in the last few years and I’m only just now starting to take steps to fix it and it’s so hard to fix after the fact. Not impossible, but very stressful and it eats away at your confidence when you put yourself in this kind of situation. If I could give my past self advice it would be this: if you can barely afford your living expenses then you cannot afford loans or a credit card. People have this mindset that credit cards are there to bail you out of tough spots but really they only put off the inevitable if you’re using them all the time for basic things. And if you’re already in this situation where you’ve made those choices you have to stop beating yourself up for it because it’s pointless to punish yourself for your past mistakes, all you can do now is take steps to fix it. And if you need help there is no shame in that, your pride is not worth more than your future! I also wanted to say thank you Stefan, your videos have inspired me not only to change my life and my habits but to address issues with depression and anxiety that have been severely holding me back so that I can make those changes I need to make to live my best life. Your honesty about your own struggles has really spoken to me and made me believe that I can change my life too, so thank you so much!

Hey Stefan, I just want to thank you. I've been following your videos for a few time now and since I've started reading some of the books you recommended in one of your video, I've started applying that to my life and I'm pretty sure I am heading to a bright future because of that. I'm currently in the middle of Money Master the game and I learned so much. So thanks for guiding and providing me the tools to go where I wanted to be :) (I've already started applying the pay yourself first at an ambitious 20% and I'd say I'm pretty proud that it actually works! )

Thanks Stefan! We are working on adding value and building our business.....probably too many ways at once 😊.....we had decided to stay where we are and really dive in and pour everything we have into our business until we can start earning some profits and have cash flow to save up to fix our house and sell it before we upgrade our lifestyle. Sticking to our previous budget for as long as possible and we will see what happens! 😁

Great post. I share a similar vision for my life. The reason I'm going to college is because I want to develop patience, consistency, and discipline towards my long term goal of getting a degree. Even though college won't create the long term freedom vision for me, it provide instill character traits within myself that I find desirable as well as provide me with a steady secure which will provide me some income which then I can save and invest into other projects. I notice you have a lot of courses and I never thought about creating multiple courses but that means you have multiple sources of income I assume. I always had a vision of having a couple courses but now why not have like 5 or 6 or more ?? So yes, I really enjoyed this topic and it is true and important to be a long term thinker as well as patient and taking your time with it. I used to be the "Obsessive" like George Leonard described in his mastery book. Now since some bad results came out of that like burning out and whatnot I've taken a mastery lens. It's almost early September and I'm going to implement a new habit which is my 3rd month of my 6 month plan. July was meditation, August was hitting the gym and September will be studying 2 hours everyday for school. So far I'm on track and it's just about consistency mixed with patience and having the law of time to add up for your results. Peace.

There are a few key people I seem to be directed towards along my transformation, you're becoming one of them along with Tony R., which you already know has provided a massive impact on your life! Ciao for now and thank you for your positive content and vibe! 🍷😎🎸✌️🌴

I'm also thinking of kindle publishing: I have great ideas for writing a book.
