Bought a used trailer with this hitch. Fast way factory video did not show the basic steps to put on and take of the sway bars, I found this video very helpful.
The wheel is for the hitch jack. It allows you to move the trailer around easily with the wheel. This hitch is rated for 6,000 lbs and 600lbs tongue weight.
That’s normal for these type of friction weight distribution hitches. The reason is the friction itself when turning. The arms are moving on the metal as you turn.
Do you have the model of that hitch? We have a 2016 Jayco 10sd and looking to put a distribution hitch on it as well. Doesn't look like the chain style types would work as it doesn't appear to have enough room by the propane tank, and winch etc. to install on the frame and lift it up and over etc
Was just curious more if it was the 94-00-0600 model or the 92-00-0600 model. I believe the 92 model has longer bars so probably just a matter of measuring and making sure it fits where it needs to go. One is also round bars the other trunnion

Glad it helped.
Just got the e2. I like the fact no chains for 'hanging' the weight-distribution bars.....and no extra anti-sway bar.
This helped me a lot! Thanks! Super new to RVing and we struggled a lot when we unhitched the first time.
You’ll love the RV life. Thanks for watching.
what’s that wheel the you put on the bottom of the rod ? and how much weight can it handle ?

At 2.22 you got the swivel bar to simply drop out of the socket. How???
Thanks...my sway bars would not come out and once I saw how easily yours were removed, I was able to remove mine.
What is the reason when I turn or go backwards have a noise and the bracket slide to the front?

Tyler V yes I have this exact same setup and WD hitch. It works great with my 2012 Jayco 12BS.
Thanks! You know what model you used?
Tyler V the same one in this video.

Tyler V I don’t know for sure which one I have then. All I know is that my bars are round at the end. If that helps.
You should NEVER unchain a trailer from the vehicle until you have chucked the wheels.
Yes you’re right, but in the video the snow was fine.
Personally, I chock mine.
And please do not twist your chains like that
