I loved mine. I loosened mine all the way up to where the elastic band was basically the only thing holding it to my foot and it helped with that feeling of having to adjust your flick. I want them to IMPROVE this shoe - because I personally love what they got so far.

SB Dunks are the only way! Can’t skate nothing else no more. Went from P Rods to floating around on Nikes then went to Nyjahs and got done with those after the threes and went back to SB Dunks!
I don’t even care if it’s not “core” but the Walmart Etnies have been doing me just fine at $30 a pair, you get what you pay for, they’re not my favorite shoe, but it’s better than dropping $70+ on something that’s gonna last less than a month. And they’re honestly pretty solid
Totally hear all these complaints. The sole and shape is actually so sick. For toe durability the new Emerica Heritic reissue is kinda wild. It’s impossible to go through. Reminds me of older kicks.
If I ever flick from that part of my shoe my kickflip is gonna rocket to the moon lmfao I don’t think everyone is gonna have the same wear and tear issue, the only thing I can see causing that is tre flip

Figured the toe box might be too thin. I feel like they been cutting down materials on the dunks too. Might give the black colorway a try

I actually found this shoe to be a lot wider at the toebox than it appears. Which is good, i got a wider foot
Found the Leo Baker reacts are pretty forgiving in the toebox too

The NB # Tiago 808 are really stiff and have a solide cupsole. Have you tried them? Another suggestion is Emerica Gamma.

I recommend trying the adidas superstar make sure you half size down and don’t get the adv versions the feel way worse
