Farming Oysters in Florida to save the environment
Today we will be talking about raising oysters for the Restore Our Shores Foundation (restoreourshor...).
Every adult oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water per day!!! These oysters will eventually be used on artificial reefs to help improve the water quality of the Indian River Lagoon! We also check in on our clam beds and take some water samples. Check back every week for oyster and clam updates!
