What an amazing film & soundtrack Rangeela was ..It was like a musical festival in the cinema halls. People use to clap and whilst when ARRs name showed up on the screen .. RGV adds a bit of Muqabla song when ARRs name appears on screen!! This movie was really soo much fun to watch at the cinemas! Also, Rangeela was my first Audio CD that I’ve ever bought, using up my pocket money which I saved for a few months 😀😊😊
Dear RaavMedia. We are happy that we could stir your memory box. How graphically you remember them. Good luck. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.
Yes, everything about Rangeela was so magical and ARR played an equal or even bigger role than RGV to create this music fest! Things were made up of such soul back then and 90s cinema was a beautiful time when the festivity of movie watching reached its peaks esp in India. Today despite multipalexes and pan India movies being made on such large scale budgets, we are hardly celebrating cinema like this.
How can a Rahman fan ignore this beautiful series.... The interviewer and the whole team seems as curious as a good Rahman's music fan. Yet very well researched and respectful to the interviewee. Every time I watch this series, I feel like there are some people out there who exactly know how great Rahman's creations are....
Dear nrups s. We are delighted to see your feedback. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.

So as per A Khan 14:04 whole credit goes to RGV, you choreographers followed him, and after that credit is Bhiru da, a beautiful-looking Heroine. Phew 😤 But I’m adding here the main point, Behind all of these things ‘Hai Rama’ is then only sensual song based on the Indian classical raga PUDIA DHANASREE. And it blended so beautifully that no one ever imagined this way before. That's the Magic of Rahman sir.❤️🙏
Dear Sir. You are absolutely right. This composition was indeed path Breaking. In fact Mr. Ram Gopal Varma took time to accept it. Finally the tune grew on him. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.
His mom was actually the choreographer as she was sick that day she sent Ahmed Khan to say she can't come then instantly RGV took a decision that Ahmed Khan will be choreographer as RGV had good observation skills he picked him
Dear Mr. Shaik. that's the power of Mr. Rahman's music. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.
Dear Mr. Muhammad. You are 100% right. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.
Rahman's music has always been a nightmare for most choreographers. I would say majority of the visuals have not done justice to his music. But Rangeela was definitely one of the rarest movies which did do justice to the songs. Kudos to everyone who were involved in this.
Dera Mr. Kumar. You are spot on as far as Rangeela is concerned. Really appreciate your feedback. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.
You said it exactly what I wanted to say. This movie and perhaps this choreographer is one of those very few to have done justice to ARR's music. Though, Much of his songs are well picturised but most of them are really not well choreographed. However, he inspired the best from every technician and artistes by setting a new benchmark with each song and thus not only challenged himself but other departments too!
Dear Mr. Bhupati. Thanks a lot. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.
Dear sir. Thanks. We are in touch with both. We hope to be able to feature them in near furture. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.
It's very thoughtful of you guys to bring Ahmed Khan in for reflections. Thanks a ton. A very different perspective coming from a choreographer. 1:26 Wow such an interesting and fun recollection about both Ahmed Khan and ARR the youngest among the staff. 2:14 Very interesting comments about his confusion, "What do I catch, melody or rhythm". 9:20 Very annoying why you include covers instead of the real song footage. Is it the copyright issue? 11:30 great recollection from RGV how he asked ARR to make an erotic song but he came up with Hai Rama 😀. Very true, Hai Rama was picturized so masterfully.
Dear Mr. karnad. There is no doubt about it. We agree with you 100%. It requires sone guts to trust your film with a 19 year old choreographer. Salute to Mr. varma for doing that. And to Mr. Ahmed khan who took the challenge and delivered. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.
Dera Mr. Madhavan. Yes, this music changed Hindi film music forever. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.
Not the film director but a music director challenging the choreographer 😂 Only Rahman could do this 😂 BTW Congrats to Ahmed Khan for winning the Filmfare.
Dear Sonawane. You are right sir. Mr. Rahman's music challenged Mr. khan. And he too was on a mission which he accomplished. And Mr. khan was barely 19. That was a revelation even for us, Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.
This movie and perhaps this choreographer is one of those very few to have done justice to ARR's music. Though, many of his songs are well picturised but most of them are really not well choreographed. However, he inspired the best from every technician and artistes by setting a new benchmark with each song and thus not only challenged himself but other departments too! Really, Kudos to both RGV and Ahmed for conceiving the picturising of the song in such 'animal instinct' manner. This is one of those songs which is equally a treat to watch as much it is to listen. Really, I loved the way he analysed every little detail here and gave all the credit to RGV. Ofcourse, Rangeela had his vision, his mark and style but the icing on the cake is how Rahman took it to another level. Every song is so different from the other making even ace choreographers run for their money. But yes, disappointed with the last cover song in this episode. It just didn't fit in well with the flow of the episode. Some of these covers, esp. the Hai Rama one just irritates and suddenly all the good feeling you had about the song in Ahmed Khan's words gets ejected out in no time because of that un expected goofy voice singing Hai Rama all of a sudden. If you can't avoid cover versions then please bring artistes who could do justice to the original and not spoil it. This is definitely not a good perspective to see from a die hard Rahman fan's point of view. Here the sole focus has to be on celebrating Rahman music and not promoting some of those spineless artistes!
Dear Mr. Rao. Thanks. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups. Regards.

Thank you for these Rahman music sheets; I really enjoy the interviews. However, I have a big gripe: I really wish you have put clippings of the original songs (instead of covers)..these covers completely ruin the flow; Most of the covers don't even capture the essence of the original song (wrong chords, wrong mood, very simplistic arrangements etc). This was a bad decision folks. I mean, this is about ARRs music and we don't even hear the originals? Still, I thank you for the effort and all the great interviews!!
Dear Srip Kuc, Thanks for your feedback and appreciation too. Plaese allow us to mention that Mr. Rahman's music has inspired and impacted artists across the globe. His music defies all physical boundaries. It is to highlight this aspect of Mr. Rahman's world that we feature artists from across the globe who have reinterpreted Mr. Rahman's music. As far as Mr. Rahman's original creations are concerned they are unmatched. But they are easily accessible and just a click away. Please try and look at it from this perspective. Watch the next episode. You will get an opportunity to interact with Mr. Ahmed Khan. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please share this episode with you family, friends and groups.
