Great to hear practitioners talking about the endocanebanoid system. I have a heavy autoimmune profile & am off meds bec of keto/Ketovore (no shock there) & CBD w THC oil. Much better than methotrexate any day.
That's amazing to hear! At Cannanda, we've heard a lot of individual with autoimmune conditions benefiting from our CB2 products...everything from MS, RA, celiac, eczema, and so on. Great to hear that you've found a combination that works for you and your body!
You say CB2 is available in the UK where can I purchase it from please? I suffer chronic back pain and chronic myofacial pain syndrome along with fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis so I am very interested in trying your product. Thank you for this informative video. Xx
One thing that I really wonder about is that in the Ray-peat circles they claim that burning fat as fuel creates way more ROS and is therfore worse for longevity and health. Plus burning carbs producesome way more carbon dioxide which is supposedly so beneficial. And in the keto/carnivore community they say that it's healthier to burn fats/ketones. I am so confused how both sides claim that they are right. I REALLY wish someone would dig deep into this and explain the difference between these polar opposite views...It's so confusing! 😅 And yesterday I heard Dr Mercola talk about it and he has completely changed his view on keto and now eat massive amounts of carbs!! I think he said 500 g something..Wtf????😨
Great question Cammi. Keep in mind that ROS in itself isn't negative. It's the context in which they are generated that makes them either negative or positive. In fact, ROS production is one of the reasons we benefit from exercise (and one of the reasons why if you take antioxidants at a time you're generating those positive ROS, you'll blunt the positive adaptations to exercise). Not sure if that completely answers your question, or discrepancy between "sides," but maybe will help provide insight as to what direction to take your investigation next.
Dr. Leila Denmark would never approve of a Keto diet. She started out as a scientist and helped invent the Pertussis vaccine and then treated over 250,000 kids face to face with a faultless, exemplary track record and has 15 awards and honors in her name and lived in good health to age 114 said a person should have 3 balanced meals per day and each meal should contain a high quality protein, starch and vegetables and the best protein is from eggs, lean meat and black eyed peas, a little bit of whole fruit each day is ok. Do you think she has been fooling herself and all her patients for over a century?
