Softlock: (plural softlocks) (video games) A situation where a game remains apparently playable, but further progress is impossible, typically due to a design flaw or glitch.
I can't believe the devs didn't make more items for players to find on the islands in the base game. The items that mod adds makes the game so much better.
Bruh I am sooo jealous! Those mods and islands are SWEEEET!!! dunno why the devs didn't put more effort into the game. All those mods and abundance in the modded Islands are super convenient and would make the game 150x better. I'm sure most of the people who played it and stopped, would still be playing if it was like this. I enjoy the game bcus it's fun but gets boring after a while bcus of the lack of materials and lack of creativity etc..
The addition of certain mods is what got me back into SD. I'm really having a great time playing again! Is there a mod or button in options that will tone down the storms? Ciao
There's one mod that you can trigger a storm or turn a storm off, but... It's a bit immersion breaking. The storms are a part of the journey. I have suggested that Hantacore make the new rain texture a little more opaque though.
So, I've personally never played this. I've played raft, and green hell, and various other survival titles. How is stranded deep stacked up against others in your experience? My group have been reluctant to try since there is supposedly a cap on 2 people multiplayer sessions? Any way to expand this with current mods? Thanks.
2 players max in multiplayer. And... multiplayer can be glitchy. Stranded Deep was originally coded as single player only. If you want to play single player, it's great (IMO, especially with the mods). Multi-player (with max of 2 people) is possible, but be prepared for glitching. Also some of the mods JustRob is highlighting simply don't function in Multiplayer (like Cat's Items--and I tried!)
As a single player experience it can be fun and with hard mode and permadeath you can make it challenging. Great survival game that also has 3 bosses and an endgame you can go through if you want. I went straight through it twice and am now on day 140 of my relaxed builder save just chilling.

They supposedly fixed that bug, but they supposedly fixed a bunch of other bugs that still exist. 😂

What fuzzy said! :)
Xbox has bats and seagulls on most islands as far as my games have gone.
On PC, birds and bats only.spawn on your home island. It's really stupid.
Rob is weak to crabs. *journal updated*
🤣🤣
Are you taking notes on me!? 😂
We are gonna let you slide on that potato aim with those snakes since you haven't been playing stranded lately 🤣
I don't wanna talk about it 😂 my mouse sense was also glitches. It was super weird.
