We had two guides one of which was really unpleasant [ never encountered it before in any NT property ] we tried not to let him spoil our visit though as we had really been looking forward to our visit... however the 2nd lady guide was lovely! Hi Neil and Ant, we have enjoyed your adventures in York. The house looks amazing. We loved your commentary, it supported it perfectly. Wonderful staircase and there were some stunning wallpapers. 6 Rolls Royces sounds just the job for a tour of Europe. Hi Dave and Dawn! Thanks for watching guys! I would actually love to catch a glimpse of a ghost in one of our videos but we never have! The Treasurers House really is a very lovely property full of some amazing things... we would love to go again at some point to see things I'm sure we missed ... The garden is only small but it is very pretty , a perfect place to sit and reflect for a while... we still have a few more videos to come from our Yorkshire break it was well worth going... Wonderful! I really love the Treasurer's House both inside & out! It is so rustic & beautiful! Not ostentatious at all. The bedrooms are also lovely! Especially the green bedroom with the dark green bedspread & matching canopy over the bed. Just lovely! I also loved the Paintings in the House. Especially the one with the two wee children & the other one, with the older lady donning the lace cap. Delightful! There were so many Paintings of various people in this House which were quite intriguing. The Treasurer's House truly is a wonderful place! Thank you for sharing it with us! Blessings to you both!
Hi Annie! Thankyou for watching ... we loved the Treasurers House! It is amazing that you commented on those two particular pictures as they both fascinated us... the 2 young girls were sisters and unusually for the time they both lived to ripe old ages! The lady in the mop cap was Mr Greens grandmother, if you look really closely at the picture you see the ringlets are clipped on to the mopcap and her own hair shows wisps of grey... this must be the Georgian equivalent of photoshopping 😆 The furniture in the house is superb all very beautiful... Thankyou so much for your support we really appreciate it 😊

They just seemed to 'come alive' for me when you shared them. Thank you for explaining who they were. That makes them seem to 'come alive' even more so. Actually I have noticed that quite a number of times when I watch your videos. That you will Comment or be drawn to something in the Rooms that stands out or strikes me in the same way! Sometimes even using the same word that I was just thinking to describe what you felt upon seeing whatever it happens to be. Well, that's validation of beauty & substance if ever I heard it!
