- Flying over the Arctic North Pole - United Airlines 16 hour non stop service from Newark Airport, New Jersey to Hong Kong. Great views over Manhattan on take off, the Arctic seen from window, flying over Siberia, and landing into Hong Kong in the evening. First time I've ever seen the Arctic - great feeling top of the World...
Ice and snow, I'm ready to go!
😂
Thankyou
Great videos, thank you!
I still find it fascinating that we have the ability to be on the other side of the Earth in a matter of hours. Just think what this journey would have been like in say the year 1725? That would have meant a voyage on a sailing ship south through the Caribbean, along the coast of South America, around the tip of South American and across the Pacific Ocean. It would have taken years, people would have died most likely and there’s a great likelihood that you might never make it there. Today, 16 hours, two meals and hello Hong Kong. Amazing times we are living in.
3 meals. The mid flight snack was not seen here.
Stunning views of manhatten...
Yah, I saw planes taking off day before so got a window seat right side of plane...
Great shots of all New York borougs thanks
yah, and i ran thru all 5 boroughs when i ran the NYC Marathon 2008. Thanks ;-)
Nice Video!!!
I’ll be on this leg next month and can’t wait!
Cool, make sure you're awake camera to hand when flying over North Pole... great sights...
I have flown into Newark for the first time this year and it was on United but it was my connection going to AUA aka Aruba cause I had to do DTW-EWR then do EWR-AUA.
Amazing ten days of videos (and information) that left me hoping that you were being well-compensated monetarily for your time and efforts. This final video of the trip home was icing on the cake, breathtaking from start to finish.
Thank you Walter. I really enjoyed the 10 days in USA from West Coast to East Coast. Pleasant surprise to fly over the North Pole (Air New Zealand and Qantas used to have sightseeing flights to see the South Pole) - this one North Pole, just luck thrown in for free.
That plane passing your plane at 3:36 was the same aircraft that I flew from DTW-EWR I think.
Hope you have a great flight and hope that you got film some videos about hong kong , would love to see that . Have great day sir
The airport you zoomed in At was LGA I think.
Dude....way to shaky you making me sick. Try zooming out and having stabilizing the camera next time
Hi! good video! I think that JFK airport appears in the back on 6:33 and LaGuardia on 8:05, is that correct?
See you!
Emmanuel Casillas yes that’s correct^
Was there a snack service between the two meals? There should be because it says that there is mid flight snack on flights longer than 12 hours.
United full service airline, yah, can get snacks anytime...
Did they serve a snack like a sandwich to you in the middle of the flight?
CRJ 700 I think
Wait, so you only had a layover in Hong Kong 🇭🇰?! That is a lot of flying for you! Where was your real point B?
Singapore...
@@MrKesavaraj Oh, I think JFK offers direct flight to Singapore. 🤔
@SneakyShane - Brawl Stars I’m not as stupid as I was back then, sorry about how dumb I sounded lol
So were you able to catch the connecting flight ✈...or u missed it?
Made the connecting flight, in some ways, hope I hadn't - life's more fun that way... the connecting flight also United Airlines so they waited for us...
was it a 777-200er or 300er?
can't remember. maybe a shot on the video...
Based on the interior, it's a 777-200ER that originally flew for Continental.
where are u in hk, mate?
beers?
transmitting mate. I didn't miss the flight (sadly) - would have liked some time at HK airport... beers next time...
PVD to NEW to HGK
You mean PVG-EWR-HKG?
PVD to EWR to HKG
PVG*
Dude.......knock it off with the constant zooming and shakiness. You are making your viewers dizzy, not to mention the blur. Next time you gotta mount your camera on the window. So much better
