If you ever get a chance to visit Cochrane you can get to see some rehabilitated polar bears with just a pane of glass between you and them. Churchill is probably a better experience because it's their actual environment. But Cochrane is pretty impressive. They've given them land with a stocked Lake so the bears can go hunting.

One of those problem bears was Mercedes who ended up at Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland. She spent her last years at Highland Wildlife Park testing a new, more natural enclosures with a rather surprising barrier, deer fencing! When Mercedes was given a health check, the old girl still had all of the fur between the pads on her feet, something that is apparently unusual in polar bears housed in an all concrete enclosure.

First of all, I want to let you know that I sincerely appreciate the efforts of changing the world, so this is a honest concern of mine and I am legitimately interested in the answer since I’ve donated to similar organizations before with the same questions in mind.
How do I know that organizations like Klima are actually planting trees? Do they have an impact section?
I really want to participate but I dont know how legit the program is !!
    Thank you 🙌🏼💕

"Carbon offsets" are controversial if not outright bad for the environment, do research before supporting groups like Klima & Wren.

Great job, Danielle. Makes more of a case for the dangers of global warming. Your humour makes the serious parts more enjoyable, as does your genuine emotion.
