Thank you for this video! My dad left me an 03 wide glide that’s been sitting since 2016. My motorcycle maintenance knowledge is pretty limited

I inherited a fxdxt - same boat, different oar, amigo. Ive always ridden japanese bikes and in fact my padre bought his first bike from me. Ive always worked on japanese bikes but harleys are a quirky bunch. 10 steps to do what a honda does in 2. Anyhow keep the sticky side down & ride on.

Great vid dude. 🤟 Thanks for the walkthrough. I have a 16’ wide glide I need to pull the battery on to charge it so this is helpful. 😁

Suggestion. On my softail fatboy and my custon I run my pigtail for my charger off of the primary side of the bike. You can run it under the frame tube under the seat. Also anchor them with azip tie or over the top and its higher up and anytime you start one up or plug in your tender after a ride you dont have to worry about the pipes melting through the charger wire

Ive got what looks to be the same exact motor on my 2001 dyna. I'm wondering where the starter relay is located??? Some told me it's under the seat, which it is not!!! There are just a bunch of wires, no relay. I'm getting a click when I try to start her after awhile it Will turn over, sometimes after a few clicks, sometimes after hitting the starter with a plastic mallet. I want to change the relay, before tearing the starter out. I just can't figure out where the relay is. Do I have to take the battery out to find the relay, or is it on the other side by the fuse box??? Any info on this will be appreciated!!! Thank you!!

You said you liked that battery because it did not need a spacer on the terminal... Then, in the next sentence, you talked about installing a spacer on the terminal...! So, what is the deal? Spacer or no spacer??? Plus, the camera did not show what you were actually doing...! What is the explanation???

Not really sure. They were put on by the previous owner. I have a stack of receipts from the bike but couldn't find one for the pipes. Don't see any markings on the pipes either. If I come across it I'll let you know. Thanks!
