I've used the blue and the pink one. The blue one gave me the worst allergic reaction because it got into my eye but that's my fault I guess ;) I found the gel one more nourishing than the essence. And it kind of sat weird when I have applied too much. I've had great experience with the essence- I loved the feel of it. To be honest here- I have used it last year about that time, which means in colder weather and my skin was drier then, now I'm oilier and much more sensitive because of damaged skin barrier because of to much chemical exfoliation... I know... patience.... ;) Thank you sincerely, Ramon, especially trying to review sunscreens and othe products available in Europe/EU. As you must have already noticed we can not get all the brands available in the US. So THANK YOU :)
4:40 Absolutely. For eg: I initially bought the Purito Centella (Unscented) to use around my eyes, because I thought that with only 2 UV filters, it’d probably be sensitive skin friendly - as Dr Dray had also surmised. The way it broke the area out in hives and made my eyes swell. Botanical plant extracts just aren’t worth it in sunscreens to me.
I have VERY oily skin and this sun essence SPF45 was the best sunscreen I’ve ever used so far. Now I can’t wait to try Aqua spf 50, which should be even better in my case
@@Ms_Pumppkin I’ve tried this new formulation Aqua 50 and it’s terrible. Unfortunately 45 is also no longer available in old formula. So I switched to Biore sun essence and it’s fantastic
I’d definitely be interested in the waterproof one as well!! I do sports and it’s so difficult to find an spf that’s water resistant but applies nicely
Aqua sun milk is my fav. Ive been using it since the first packaging. Its fast absorbent, light, brighten your skin just a little, it blends out fast and doesnt feel sticky. But the recent Aqua sun milk 2022 they changed formula, makes your face extremely shiny, kinda oily. After i put it i have to let it sit for 15 mins to set (time-consuming) and then dab a tissue to get the oiliness away. Im extremely disappointed

Can you talk about dimethicone in products too??? There're a lots of types of dimethicone (but i consider them all the same "its silicone") , seems like my skin irritate by them especially when they place up high in skincare ingredients. I know dimethicone can lock the moisture and also fill in the pores makes the skin feels smoother and silkier but, i also feel my skin cannot breath and feels "fake" to touch.

It’s an interesting point, and I always try to designate the texture if I find it is very primer-y feeling, but that feeling can be obtained through various other ingredients, and as you mention, because there are so much forms of silicone, the issue comes with all dimethicones being labeled as only ‘dimethicone’ regardless of the texture or feel of it. So even more volatile, lightweight dimethicones that don’t have that texture or finish you don’t like will still have that name. It wouldn’t suffice for me to mention it having that ingredient unless it was tangible in the final texture

Absolutely nothing with added fragrance is recommended for sensitive skin, any kind of skin really but sensitive really suffers unnecessarily due to this. Fragrance “natural” or synthetic does nothing but harming skin and triggering the immune response causing rashes, pimples, redness, acne, open capilares and collagen breakdown.
