2004 Fleetwood pop up camper lift chain adjustment

Our popup camper lift system was making a popping sound when raising the roof. I was concerned I'd have to tear off the back panel and replace lift system components. Instead it ended up being a simple fix!!!

This video was EXTREMELY helpful thank you! We recently bought a pop up and found it was EXTREMELY difficult to raise also had the popping. Definitely giving this a try tomorrow!!

I have a working, but hard to open IDT lift system..NO ZERKS fittings, I am planning to add a couple to the main tube...Bad idea or good idea? What you do think?
