You should open a separate channel with lessons on little riffs and songs you do on this channel, and little nuggets of wisdom you've collected along your bass journey. it'd be so awesome and i bet alot of people would love to see you teach your songs, and song lessons from bands that inspired you.
Wtf, this is the first fretless bass that doesnt sound like a fretless bass that i've seen in my entire life! PD: You are one of the best bassists that exist on this world dude, great work!
Hey total respect bud. U walk on that bass and make her sing. I have played since 13 and am 43 now. U are blowing my mind. Amazing bud. Thank u. When I get goose bump s from music i know something is right. U make that happen. Teaching my son bass. And dude we respect you bud. You are an influence. Thank u. I would not say this to anyone. U have no idea. I hope u knowyou are a badass bass player. 100 percent. Take care bud
He makes the fretless bass "sing" and sound like only a fretless can..... Superbe!! Playing slow parts is very beautiful to on this beast. By the way: Its masterly done!!
every time I watch in 1080 your fingers and strings are all liney. also, love the the variety of sounds in this! it goes from straight funk to mid-easternish to Claypool'esque and back again flawlessly
I saw this video a while back and couldn't believe it , now I know its for real and fantastic. Most excellent bassist , best I've ever heard . Please keep playing Remco and don't stop like I did for 5 years. I regret laying my bass down 20 years ago for 5 years, now I cant retrieve those lost years. But I'm making some of that time up by practicing 3 times as much. Time passes us by so very fast . Mark S Beretta
Damn, strong Claypool vibes when you turn on that octave pedal! Your playing is something else, man. Very creative composition of grooves. It's a pleasure seeing your videos, thanks for the upoad!
Lobsterrrrrr baaaalllllss! Gotta name these the same everywhere. Stop being such a SUPERHERO!!! Sorry, you're not allowed to be THAT entertaining with just a bass and a drum machine. ;) Has anyone taken your tracks and tried to add instruments or vocals? You are such a legend. I don't normally gush. And for a frame of reference I like... The statler brothers, ween, jeff beck, Beatles, froggy fresh, Merle haggard, etc etc. You are music.
Duuuude, i fucking love ur right hand technique!!! It sounds so picky, but still groovy as hell! And love these grooves too :) Greets from Hamburg/Germnay!
In my mind I'm seeing one of those big barn dance events and the whole crowd is moving and jumping together as one. I'm just a country boy but I'd rather be more funk than country. The Groove real @ the Groove Lab.
***** It can be useful for staccato playing & right-hand muting, for double stops, it's great for triplets & it can give some xtra attack if needed. I also feel there's a different rhythmic interplay between the thumb & index/middle finger, as opposed to regular index/middle fingerstyle. I believe it can open up some great possibilities, have fun with it man!

Ah... You know we all love to have your grooves in our lives.
Amazing groove, man! Sounds like Jaco, Les Claypool and Rocco Prestia had a love child! Thanks for the inspiration!
Was thinking this same thing.
you mentioned them all except Mark King. Is there a particular reason that escapes me?
@@skyscraper7474mark king exists in a different world I feel, more in the pop level, still a great funky bassist tho
One of the best bassists I've ever heard, and my personal favorite. Fretless gang!

It should be illegal to have that much fun with an instrument. :-)

This guy had a crewcut when he first started playing.
When I listen to Remco's sounds and close my eyes; I see thoughtful, chaotic cartoons.
So glad you're back! Can't wait to hear more.
Sou fã desse músico também
I love this. It's my favorite playing style ever!
this is on another level
I can't stop listening to this. the groove is too hypnotic!
This one kicks *ss and the sound is perfect. Remco is one in a billion. Those slides makes my skin go goosebumps.
Dude, you are unbelievable. I can't get over how amazing your playing style is. Keep uploading! These jams are crazy!
Hey, roundwound strings, to mix fretless smoothness and growling tone all at the same time! Love it, great sound as ever!
I got myself some ernie ball flats, they're pretty damn growly as well if you're looking not to chew up your fretboard :)
Hands down I've seen remco play a lot of beautiful bass guitars but the jazz Bass is unbeatable when it comes to the sound
Dude! My cat was grooving to this awesome tune!!!
REMCO What a bass player, SUPERB 🎸🤙🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥
FML, why isn't this channel more popular?!
Te gek man!
