The original ROBOCOP movie came out just 4 months after I was born, and when I was about 3 years old, I was in a weird foster care situation for lack of a better explanation. While I was in the foster care situation, I saw the original movie, and thus ROBOCOP is what ultimately inspired me to want to be a Police Officer. I can't wait to play the game, and I can only hope and pray that someday I might get a chance to meet and thank Peter Weller for helping a 3 year old boy during a very troubled time. And for being the inspiration for me to be a good person for all the right reasons. ROBOCOP has always been my number 1 favorite superhero of any sort and always will.
I mean Teyon (the Polish studio that made this game), did a great job on Termimator: Resistance and have improved a lot since their take on Rambo. So I am not surprised at all that their approach to Robocop's IP was really good.
Yeah because the only reason Rambo was the way it was is because it was a rail shooter they were overly ambitious and didn't have the technology they have now the game was pretty fun but that's just me..they weren't given access to the good things they needed but they did a lot with that game and the lore and they didn't have the budget back then rail shooters were really popular especially in arcades...they should make a new Rambo and one that's not a rail shooter hell I want them to make Wolverine I know they'll stay loyal to the source material and not make some woke garbage that goes against the integrity of the story
Man Terminator Resistance was so much better than Rambo, I never played Rambo, but I saw a playthrough of it and yeah it wasn't great, this game on the other hand is definitely better than it's predecessor, Teyon are definitely gettin' better at their games and the quality is improving, I'm quite frankly sick off AAA games that are all flash, no substance, I'm more into these retro indie games like the ones from the 80's and 90's and great movie tie in games like Terminator Resistance and this game, I can definitely say Teyon is rapidly becomin' one of my favorite new game companies.
Already have my copy. This developer is so good. They made Terminator Resistance which I loved so I knew this game would be good as well. So excited to play this. I am especially excited that many of the original characters are in it and that Peter Weller is voicing RoboCop.

i was hesitant to pre order this on PC, especially because i didnt have time for the demo, but it just has the vibes of something i want to play. im 36 and just "watched" this in the background, i believe probably for the first time, last week, while also working.. and it was cheesey good. most everyone enjoyed the PC demo, so i used warios coupon to get it for like $36? so many games, so little time. thanks for the review, ill watch it soon
Most surprising thing to me, is that this developer made a movie tie in game, even before Terminator Resistance, an on-rail Rambo shooter, that was awful. So glad they had success with Terminator and now Robocop, hopefully they will be able to keep the quality and passion going.

This studio has gone through a pretty impressive three game transformation: the Rambo adaptation was terrible, the Terminator Resistance game was very janky and rough around the edges but decent if you could ignore that, now this.

Before you buy Game is about 8 hours long with everything included. Open World is false as it's just small snippets of the city that you can explore in 5 minutes. Before you say "Id much rather a good short game than a bad long one" you are the reason the game industry is dying.. When developers and their investors see that they can put less effort and money into making a game, the quality just continuously goes downhill, and jus tbecause you work 40-80 hours a week for someone else because you couldnt think for yourself to get passive income streams to have more free time, doesn't mean that people like myself who have that free time and passive income should suffer.

Like others I really enjoyed Terminator Resistance, so I’m very much down. The only real letdown is that there’s no steelbook edition of Robocop.

16 hour campaign seems good value considering MW3 is out the same day with its 6 and half hour story.
Not liking the combat. Zero difficulty. Just stand and shoot like arcade. Campiness is enjoyable,but not for me till bargain bin
