I think my biggest issue with the generated characters is they have too many Xs. They basically all devolve into gambler with one or two "I win this fight" side.
Please, for the love of god, take Titanbane Amulet in nightmare. It can dispel so much weird stuff the game throws at you like slate's stone HP, hexia's mana burn and pain mirror, and deathsigils (tho i think you still die in this case)
Wrt the final encounter: (Spoiler wall) You could have put poison dip on any damage source and then relied on your housecats to tank forever, until it died of poison!
Oh huh, I didn't even notice the lack of Crone... infact, I didn't notice it so much, that when you mentioned it, I unironically thought "Crow? There was a Crow in this game?" Also when's the all green no cats run :3 Edit: If you had used the item to put Poison on the two left sides you could have just poisoned the omegachad Slate at the start and had the 6-dodge cat just stall it out

More generally, I find there's very little reason to pick pip-increasers in Four Cats Nightmare, because your guy kills whatever he hits, and the cat damage is fairly meaningless. You go for consistency (e.g. Silk Cape) and contingency (e.g. Titanbane).

Honestly for nightmare titanbane amulet is like an auto take. throw it on a cat, remove slated hp or death sigils and the like, fish for cleave if theres multiple issues. I'm unsure about normal runs, but for cats it almost auto solves the battles
yeah that last slate fight. titanbane clears his hp. but with what you picked you did have the option to poison it and wait out with the perma dodge. Good run tho!
Voyix! When you feel like youve checked out all the main 3.0 content, could you try out custom textmods? Theyre really fun and pretty much are just even more cool modes to play
You had a line in that slate fight, all you need to do is get one poison then let the damage tick for 40 turns while dodge spamming

I agree ,it so boring that every generate hero is just a gambler 2.0
I recommend fishing for extra hero level up options. It helps in finding more balanced generated heroes.

Titansbane amulet is a must take for nightmare runs. Being able to dispel any slates or death sigils is game changing.
Yeah, a cat with cleave dispel was the difference between me and x28 slates being friends or not

just completed a 4 cat + green unfair run, it's actually pretty nutty, cant wait for your take on it.

It was like honey (the tier 6) except, y'know, on ALL the sides.
