  • It's IFR Lesson #4 for Karin as she learns the art of "Holding Patterns"! We do one hold using the VOR and then another with the GPS in the @Garmin Aviation Perspective + in our @Cirrus Aircraft SR22. Then I help Karin work through a crosswind landing back at the airport. This is one of my favorite videos yet so I hop you like it!

Simply an outstanding video! Mike, you're a great teacher and Karin is doing an amazing job. Of course, Mr. Garmin has both of you beat! Gots to love that Perspective + flight director! Thank you both for sharing.

I remember VOR holds I was confused for quite a while. Takes time for it to sink in

great video and excellent instructions. But why she seems never done any homework before flight? And seems advanced g6 does too much work and the pilot actually needs more training and experience of fundamentals

He could stand to be slightly less condescending in his tone, a little infuriating listening to.
