- Basanta Raj Kunwar is the head of ‘Narconon Nepal’ and a former SSP who served the Nepal Police Force for 20 years of his life. He came into action after his police retirement when he started enormous drug education program in schools and colleges to protect the youths of Nepal. That boosted his motive and later he brought the prestigious Narconon franchise in Nepal with an initiative to rescue and educate many trapped souls in drugs and bad influences. I was literally having goosebumps . Basanta sir's voice was literally overwhelming me. I think everything that he said was 200% true and fact. I have shared it with my parents because this conversation touched my heart soo deep and i think this podcast should be watched by each and every Neplease. And Sanjay dai you are doing a really great job you are bringing out more and more relevant issues and hope you'll bring more like this....

Yo don't know about this man he talks cheese her in media but reality is different.i think you won't believe it or not but inside his rehab compound environment is different by manipulating the victims parents that it will take more like 3-4years to get full heal and charge highly to their parents and also thye punishes to the addicts physically too.

Very close to mine fell on the drugs addiction .Joined Narconon Nepal . During those time after he came home he has completely changed after that. Now he is clean but not in that condition when we had in childhood. Drugs do change a lot if taken in overdose and you become unconscious after that family suffers a lot being the victim. 100% agree with his point.

Big talk from a guy who uses the addicts and their family my manipulating them , and treating the sick people in this center like labor workers , using his business as a self sufficient business and earning his revenue by telling the guardians “ he needs more time to treat himself” ultimately leading them to pay more. I am nt against rehabilitation and treatment, i am against his way of treatment and the therapeutic methods fir the once in need. Violation of various human rights provided to us , therefore, his ideology is not incorrect , his methods are inhumane.

The world we live in is unique to each of us. How we perceive things is shaped by what we have experienced. The man is just sharing his experiences with drugs. He has witnessed people suffering from the effects. Legalizing would benefit his business, yet he opposes it. It is something we are simply not ready for. Many youths will be ruined by legalization. Many of the influential people who are in favor of legalization are just trying to escape reality because they can afford it. However, not everyone has that luxury.
His logic on weed farming legalization was dope..
From medical perspective I find this extremely funny 😂 .
Don't get me wrong, I have huge amount of respect for what he has done and what he has been doing but you need to look at things from different perspectives.

I do respect the work that you have done and continue to do till date . however I do believe legalization is the way forward. In layman's terms the cannabis plant contains two chemical THC and CBD , THC is the psychoactive chemical that gives us the sensation of being high or stoned , where as CBD is non-psychoactive chemical which actually has all the benefits that is associated with weed . the weed plants that is used for recreation has high percentage of THC and very very low percentage of CBD , if we look at the farms in the USA which only grow medical marijuana, they have breed of cannabis plant which has high CBD and very very low THC percentage, furthermore if the patient does not want to inhale smoke the CBD can be extracted as oil to be consume.

I don’t think it should be legalised, do you think ppl will just used it for the purpose of meditation. There will be explicit and misuse of drugs. For country like Nepal where regularity bodies are weak it’s not possible to regulate here.sorry but not sorry.

People tend to give logic of "limited consumption" .... but i have never seen people taking limited amount of anything be it , alcohol , drungs any substance ...... people drink until they get hangover , marijauna until they they lose sense ..... so taking in "limit" sounds good in theory but doesnot work in pratical life........
