Interesting. Why no Dresden in the list? It is the oldest (or one of the oldest) in Germany. But anyway a lot of markets now turning into open-air shopping centers. I have visited 14 Markets this year and almost all of them were just shopping malls in the squares....
not u using a video from the Czech Republic for part of the Manchester Market...there is a word: STAROMĚSTSKÉ..that doesn't sound so English, does it? and not u doing it again with Posnan, where is clearly visible TRDELNÍK, VESELÉ VÁNOCE, or the beggining of the word ČEPOVANÉ I am not mad at you only because you have Prague on the first place...the Czech republic deserves the credit

Miserable or cold winter weather spurs people to action and brings tourists in otherwise dead season. Just like London, which it decorated beautifully and atmosphere before Christmas is amazing, but Christmas markets are rubbish, dirty and overcrowded. Don’t know how Manchester landed on the list. I spent Christmas in Vaujany near Grenoble on skiing holiday once and it was very disappointing. Locals make no effort at all, unlike skiing Christmas in Austria, Lech.
This year they made a big beautiful christmas village in rome , christmas world the name👍should be bello, but i think nord europe have the best market as usually, buon natale a tutti

Full of shit. Just returned from Cologne, nothing was dark and cold. It was an AWESOME experience and the x-mass markets were booming with people, lights, food, drinks and joy.
@@lyramidsummer5508 I wish, a private company is still doing the 2 major Christmas markets so those are there, and districts have the authority to put up christmas light, but the city government won't do it like they always did, so I'm not sure how much is there.
@@sem6427 very sad. I am sure I will enjoy your beautiful city. In the UK some cities are cancelling xmas markets because of fuel prices hiking up. Our governments are crazy, we are being asked to pay more and more tax. People don't know whether to buy food or warm their homes.

Nothing. Christmas markets in Italy aren't specially interesting and impressive

Did you seriously put theme parks above Strasbourg?
Budapest has decided to not put on Christmas decorations in the city because this country is dirt poor, so i really wouldnt recommend it in 2022.
