Thanks dude...it's a good kit (Yamaha Birch Custom Absolutes), although I've definitely abused it, plus I'm recording with on only one single mic, so I'm surprised to hear you say that haha
i7 b9 thanks, breh...I feel like a big motivator for doing these is to just jam / do whatever I want *and Also* critically assess / polish my own playing. I feel like I actually did a decent job in both for once here.
Thanks dude. I was real proud of this one and feel like it doesn't get much love. My last drum cover got more views in a couple days than this got in 5 years lol
Primus was my all-time fave for a loooooooong time. Still rock their stuff pretty regularly too. I was stoked when this track came out to see Les collabing with Zach Hill
14" Istanbul Mehmet Samatya series...not only do they sound great, they appear to be indestructible as well (which has never been true of a pair of hi hats for me before - you can probably see the holes in my ZBTs in earlier videos if you're curious)
Captured Zach's style so damn well
Thank you! I feel like this is one of my lesser-viewed videos but I was pretty dang proud of it
no?
Your drums sound so good it's crazy

You're a maniac. A maniac with skills.
Bill Moorehouse thanks for that and of course the input on the Sophie ish! Need to decide once and for all and post it / be done with it
One of the best covers I’ve ever seen. The musicality not only in your playing but also your room- An absolute spectacle. Keep up.
Thank you. You should see the chaos that is my apartment
very well done you blended with the song
Thanks dood, although I still could def try more than one mic on the whole kit
@@karlfagerstrom Work with what you got. It sounds sick
@@INCridley103 Yeah but I have several mics and some mixers, I'm just too lazy to figure out multi-tracking
I wanna mix that drum track into the original song it's that fucking incredible.
Thanks dude - this style of track is definitely in my wheelhouse. I *might* even still have the drums isolated somewhere, but I'm not sure
Brother, you slayed it 🪡
Dude thank you. This is one of my least viewed (old) videos but I'm definitely still proud of it regardless
you just won yourself a fan/subscriber sir.
thanks for the amazing content
That's some dope shit, man

It is always really pleasing to see someone who can keep up to Zach Hill drumming speed, you know what i mean
Totally, man.
Keep being awesome, dude
Thanks dude...it's not easy trying to keep up with Zach Hill, but damn is it fun. He's not only shreddy and all, but he's also so weirdly innovative
Insane playing right, best cover
Thanks dude. I was real proud of this one and feel like it doesn't get much love. My last drum cover got more views in a couple days than this got in 5 years lol

I'm trying! Pretty busy with live playing and running out of Death Grips songs haha...probably should branch out a bit more.
Serious badassery!!!
Thank you master shake!
Another brilliant DG’s drum cover, dude! 💪💪💪
Thanks, man! Clearly I have a bit of a Death Grips problem haha.
Rad! Les is an awesome bassist
Primus was my all-time fave for a loooooooong time. Still rock their stuff pretty regularly too. I was stoked when this track came out to see Les collabing with Zach Hill
