Trigger Points - Extensor Digitorum

- Pain, stiffness, cramping, and weakness are the common sensations reported, with pain traveling down the forearm to the posterior part of the hand into the middle finger.
This pain can be confused with lateral epicondylitis, C7 radiculopathy, and de Quervain’s stenosing tenosynovitis.
All the associated muscles-such as the extensor indicis, digitorum, and digiti minimi-must be considered and appropriately treated when pain in the fingers is the chief complaint.

I haven’t had a full night of sleep in 12 days.
I thought I had tendinitis.
After about two hours of watching your videos, I learned that all I need is a wall and a therapy ball to treat my trigger points.
I finally feel some relief, thank you so so so much!
Where can i find the videos?
Saaame!!
This is absolutely perfect. Thank you. I was trying to figure out what I hurt doing seated bicep curls the other day.
You're so welcome! 😊 🙌
Brilliant visual and explanation.

I have a question tho : I got this from doing all out on hammering (also ECU and FCU tightness) and i can't grip or wrist curl as hard as my left (my Extensor Digitorum always give up first before my flexor forearm) is there a way to address this issue? I've been dealing with this for 10 months 😢
Woke up yesterday morning with weak hand and fingers . Seems like extensor digitorum is tender and sore to the touch. Any idea why this would happen ?
repetitive movement or prolonged flexion.
Hi Ryan,
There could be any number of perpetuating factors, including the way you slept. A proper assessment is the most useful way of finding out the reason for this.

I have bilateral carpal tunnel (moderate) and C6 stenosis (bilateral also. worse on the right side i think). Its really hard for me to tell the difference between Carpal Tunnel Pain and Stenosis induced pain. Yesterday i was finally able to go back to the gym (i'm poor. lol) and my left Ext Digitorum, shortly after, really lit up. i couldnt even thread my two middle fingers through a 5 lb plate then dorsiflex it completely (hurt way too bad). Could there be a connection between my stenosis and Carpal Tunnel?
Thank you very much for your feedback 🙌🏻
