- This is Part One of the 'Be Not Deceived' Series. We live in incredible times indeed, with so much uncertainty and misinformation floating around the internet regarding current events, we are taking a sobering and balanced look at the first Four Seals written in the Book of Revelation.

There aren't words to convey how grateful I am that the Ruach led my husband to this ministry. We have been gorging ourselves on these teachings since we first found them, the Shabbat before this most recent one. What an incredible gift these messages are. I find myself hollering "HALLELUYAH!!! GLORY TO THE MOST HIGH!!!" all throughout these teachings. Father I pray You pour out continued favor on these people - for they are Yours, Your precious people - and let Your perfect will be accomplished through every effort they endeavor in. In Yeshua's mighty name. So be it. And so shall it be. Amen!

Awesome teaching Brother Curtis. Everyone teaches on the signs of the destructions and calamities and such. But it’s about the Revelation of Yeshua and nobody teaches much on that part. Only about HaSatan’s wiles. Need more on the revealing of Yeshua than anything else Brother.

Reading the book of Revelation with the timing and message of the book of Exodus in you mind is an interesting way to read it.
They didn't know what was planned for them we are blessed with foreknowledge.
I agree that other believers will deliver us up, another thought is the "birth pains" bring about the tribulation. Keeping with the birth process analysts after the pains comes the "birth" of the baby.
So the passage could also be read as after the pains of deceit, war, upheaval, famines, earthquakes and disease comes the tribulation.

wow love your style and content,i came across Curtis via Linda Watson who is another very good student of the bible,i was researching the lost tribes via Yair Davidy and the black hebrews movement many years ago,i live in new zealand and when i was first introduced to the bible etc i still remember asking about why isnt america mentioned in the scriptures,my curiosity was further peaked when i did my study into the barbarian migrations from about 200 AD as they were pushed by the persians westward i was highly surprised to discover that many of the so called barbarian tribes had a large contingent of christians and when rome was sacked by alaric and the visigoths the inhabitants preferred gothic rule over roman rule
from there i started to research celtic history but beyond ppl like linda i couldnt find any relevant mainstream information beyond saying we migrated from africa
nothing seemed to make sense it was like i was going around in circles,its common discussion in NZ as to how lucky and blessed we have been but in any case everything started to make sense when i discovered the lost tribes movement and i realise now how much of the bible i never understood ,i come from a christadelphian back round who are actually extremely pro Yahuda but they do not make any difference between Israel and Yahuda and there lies the confusion so ive been brought up with some hybrid version of the hope of Israel and the foundation was laid,but having discovered Linda watson and then Curtis etc has added a whole new dimension inwhich i feel very thankful and blessed,i dont feel so lost in my faith and the surreal reality that we live in,i now realise that australia and nz has a destiny and it was no fluke as to how or why we got here but now i have to learn the gospel from a hebrew perspective,in new zealand nobody abides by any of bible festivals except for the seventh day adventists
as a christadelphian we were always taught that elijah would return and redeem a remnant of Israel and lead them back to the promised land,a replay of exodus,..so i am hoping GOD will redeem us in all our individual nations and not just america
we are sitting very precariously now with indonesian GDP set to surpass Ozzy about now and china is building up its military capabilities,if america falls there will be little that will stop future invasions other than GOD Himself and the work of Elijah maybe

Loved this series brother. I had what was discussed in this series in mind the other night when reading with our home fellowship.
Revelation 6:6 And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”
Something that stood out was not just inflation except for luxuries, but (barley, wheat, oil and wine) are what is harvested and presented at the three pilgrimage feasts. We had different ideas on the importance of it mentioning those specific items but I wanted to share that with you to ponder on as well since this series was such a blessing to me. Shabbat Shalom to you and your house.

This teaching is very good, I’m learning a lot from your teachings. Though I do have a couple questions about false prophets. How do you recognize between a false and true prophet? Are there true prophets in our day and age? If so, are they like the prophets in the Bible or are they different? I know this teaching isn’t about them, but false prophets were mentioned in the first part of this message, and it had me question on how would we know if a person refers themselves as a prophet but are actually false? In the Christian belief, there seems to be a lot of them that do call themselves prophets or prophetess. But say they are different than the ones in the old testimony, and if God doesn’t change, then, the way He would speak through a prophet in our day and age shouldn’t change either, right? I’m not sure about this though, do you have any teachings specifically about this?

Matthew 24:5 includes quotation marks in English versions which don't appear in the Greek text and impose an interpretation that may be incorrect. Take out the quotation marks and the sense becomes many will ADMIT that Yeshua is Messiah and will still deceive many. It may be more of a warning against false doctrines mushrooming rather than a warning of false messiahs. Many "Chrisitan" cults have arisen in the past couple hundred years such as Mormonism, Jehovah's Witness, health & wealth gospels, the explosion of antinomian teachings, and even the "pre-trib rapture" doctrine may be included. YHWH knows how much false doctrine someone may have and still be His disciples.
It is a very sobering consideration that presses me to be deep in the Word each day and vigorously work to discard the leaven of my culture, background, and inherited traditions - to measure EVERYTHING against the TaNaK and understand the Brit haHadasha through the lens of the TaNaK rather than through pagan syncretisms. I'm grateful that the Ruach led me to this channel and Olive Branch!

I Thought that the Tanak came over from Babylon when the Iraels came back from their 70 years in BABYLON.And are we not supposed to folow the Torrah.

Are you sure that you're not confusing the TaNaK with the Talmud?
The Talmud is Rabbinical/Halakah (Oral Laws and Traditions of the Jewish Elders)
The Talmud is the "rabbis' personal interpretations of the Old Testament Scriptures.
The TaNaK is an acronym for the Hebrew Bible consisting of the initial Hebrew letters (T + N + K) of each of the text's three major parts. Since the ancient Hebrew langauge had no clear vowels, subsequent vowel sounds were added to the consonants resulting in the word TaNaK. The major portions of the Hebrew Bible represented by these three letters are:
Torah (תורה) meaning "Instruction" or "Law." Also called the Chumash חומש meaning: "The five"; "The five books of Moses." Also called the "Pentateuch." The Torah is often referred to as the law of the Jewish people.
Nevi'im (נביאים) meaning "Prophets." This term is associated with anything to do with the prophets.
Ketuvim (כתובים) meaning "Writings." This part of the Tanakh is further separated into different sections including a group of history books, wisdom books, poetry books and psalms.
You might be more familiar with the name "Old Testament"...

Jeremiah 16:19 - O יהוה, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge, in the day of distress the gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Our fathers have inherited only falsehood, futility, and there is no value in them.”

Shalom Ev. I generally use a combination of 4 main English Bible. ISV Scriptures Bible, ESV, King James , Cepher and Jewish Bible for Study and reference/comparing etc. Generally for teaching i will use a combination of ISV and ESV . Yah Bless.
Glad you asked because the addition of the word ALOUD in Revelation 1:3 made me wonder. Most versions that I've seen don't have that word. Not sure that's a good translation.
