I read a biography of him years ago and came away with a deep respect for him. He excelled in the style he sang and helped bring untold millions into the Kingdom. God is surely giving his soul rest now.

The crusades in Sydney, Australia when George Bev Shea sang before the sermons by Dr.Graham and Cliff Barrows conducted a 1000 voice choir remain deeply etched in my memory as the most uplifting time in my life. I am from Fiji and I was a UNi student then starting my studies. "How great thou Art" was a rocket fuel for me.
What a privilege it was to sing in the choir...with Cliff Barrows directing, and George Beverly Shea leading us... oh my...
Love the three of them singing. Like where Shea got hit by the wave and was still standing and laughed.

His signature hymn " How Great Thou Art" is in so many hymn books both Catholic and Protestant worldwide that in my view is the signature hymn of Christianity.

Listen anybody 30 years of age and under are the Next Generation to keep the the Commandments the statue the ordinances of the Lord thy God Word Alive go out there and preach and do not be afraid for it is written I give you charge and I feel you with the Holy Ghost to go out there and to preach to the people that God has chosen so listen to the Lord and preach his word these men that you are watching in this video we're not afraid to stand up and preach the word of God even know they got slandered even though they got ridiculed and judged they understood the true power of God and his word God's word is a life-changing beautiful miraculous thing that happens to you when it manifests in your heart so don't be afraid to preach the living God's word for remember something he said If you deny me in front of people I shall deny you in front of my father don't let that happen to you I pray that whoever reads this and understands let them grow and God's word I pray that you do
You are sooooo right,Ive been thinking America has turned its back on God,not everyone, but our country chooses not to retain God in its knowledge.
I pray because of abortion, our God has not turned His back on us.
There have been far too numerous hurricanes,tornadoes,earthquakes,droughts,floods.....there have been many signs in the stars.....all these things we have been forewarned by Jesus as the coming of the end times.
We need to unlearn what we have " learned".
We need to go back to the country we were in the 40s and 50s.
But we sure could use another Billy Graham
