I found out about Sidhu Moose Wala in the hospital recovering from spinal fusion summer 2023. My cousin sent me "Bitch Im Back", I guess because he thought it'd be funny. But after some research, even without being able to understand a word of it, I grew to really fuck with his movement. It sucks that he's not around anymore, he was really tryna make shit better like Pac inspired him to... Respect to the Punjabi Nation from Alaska USA. And Rest In Peace Sidhu!!

By the end, I’m equally upset that such a young man who truly was from the bottom and made a name for himself; and equally put on for his own community and actively was saying stuff with his music and even had the audacity to go into politics to improve his community and more - being killed this young has me very saddened.
I’ve been listening to some of his songs the past day and though I don’t understand the language, vibe and feeling can be universal and I enjoyed the songs. (And will be actively listening to PBX1 his other bodies of work and speaking with some of my Sikh friends to learn more).

I'm not Indian and I have never been to India but I've been listening to a lot of Moose Wala in the last couple of years because I think Indian music is so unique. I didn't know there was a story like this behind the guy though. (Btw just for future reference, it is pronounced "Sick" instead of "Seek" for Sikh/Sikhs/Sikhism, I have a Sikh friend that is always getting on me about the pronunciation lol).
