I found out about Sidhu Moose Wala in the hospital recovering from spinal fusion summer 2023. My cousin sent me "Bitch Im Back", I guess because he thought it'd be funny. But after some research, even without being able to understand a word of it, I grew to really fuck with his movement. It sucks that he's not around anymore, he was really tryna make shit better like Pac inspired him to... Respect to the Punjabi Nation from Alaska USA. And Rest In Peace Sidhu!!
Bro became a politician, released Moosetape with 30 songs when everyone thought he would stop making music. Singers literally postponed their releases because of him, he was feared so much, because everyone knew he was the most streamed artist and the attention would go to his album more than the other singers’. He created havoc, I’m also going to make a video on him in Italian soon.
Drake, Burna Boy, Stefflon Don, Tion Wayne, Morrison, Mist and many more artists from west not just follow Sidhu's social media profiles, but also gave him tributes so many times in their live concerts. This dude got crazy respect in hip-hop industry worldwide. ✅

Thank you for covering this Topic Ross❤️
This all happened when i graveled too india for a long period of time and i really got into his music and his music was blasting everywhere(i was near delhi), on the streets, in the gym even people on motorbikes nearby
Everybody i talked with about music was curious that a foreigner even knew him at that time and every single person i met knew that guy, even the street shops had like bootleg tshirts with his face, the same way in barcelona they got fake fc barcelona tees
Im so hyped to watch this now, knowing it will be great as usual if u do it❤️
this is really good, never expected anyone to take a note of indian drill and specifically punjabi drill.
Rest in peace Sidhu.
Great documentary. Americans forget there is a big world out there with so much more going on. I hope you keep expanding the channel with content like this. 🙏🏾

Brodie if want english translations for his tracks there's a channel named translate singh who provides translations for his tracks.
Ross branching out to Indian drill was not what I was expecting. Glad to see it still
Facts his Chicago content is unmatched. But now I'm gonna check dis1 out👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾💯💯💯💯💯

Drake, Burna Boy, Stefflon Don, Tion Wayne, Morrison, Mist and many more artists from west not just follow Sidhu's social media profiles, but also gave him tributes so many times in their live concerts. This dude got crazy respect in hip-hop industry worldwide. ✅
burns boy and stefflon don have official songs with him as well, unfortunately those projects only came after his death and were not complete though but they are out there

I'm not Indian and I have never been to India but I've been listening to a lot of Moose Wala in the last couple of years because I think Indian music is so unique. I didn't know there was a story like this behind the guy though. (Btw just for future reference, it is pronounced "Sick" instead of "Seek" for Sikh/Sikhs/Sikhism, I have a Sikh friend that is always getting on me about the pronunciation lol).
It’s just how British ppl pronounce it, we even say it too (being Sikh and british)
India gets too much hate dude…. I don’t get it. I went there and the hotel/lifestyle was insane compared to america. My friends can’t believe that people there can afford luxury apartments too or live middle class
@@bioshock9998No...it doesn't get enough Hate. If you knew India, you'd know they still have a Feudal Caste System that is based partially on your Complexion. Arranged Marraiges are the Norm rather than some rare event. Women get groped on buses like some weird japanese adult films. People shit in holes in the ground. Toliet paper? Nah, they hop in the shower and use it like a Bidet....as my adoptive Indian Mom put it "I immigrated to American because I didn't want to shit in the streets".
