as a business student and hobby seller/small business owner-ish (on a long hiatus, super exhausted but still learning so i can get back into the game!!) i love going to farmers markets and buying at least one item from every stand that catches my eye. i love your episodes! currently binge watching your how-to pop-up videos while i crochet! love your videos!!! please keep up the good work
seriously you making these videos are SO HELPFUL! i make jewelry and its impossible to find jewelry creators like what you are doing. i really appreciate the videos you make
I'm participating in a craft fair soon and your videos have been extremely helpful. You're more informative than other channels I've watched so far. Thank you
I just saw your video and I am a fan! Your content was dense! I have been doing pop ups for several years and know all that you said is gold. But I not only watched the whole thing, I took notes. Anyone who takes these "tips" as instructions will be better off. I know I will.
I love love this video! I’ve been in business for a little over a year now (I make candles and melts), I’ll have to say the double boiler is the back breaker of candle making lol but I wanted to add that it is definitely easier to make the candles in bulk… exactly as you said it: set up each jar well before melting wax etc… thankfully for me my boyfriend gifted me a huge wax melter for from candle science for Christmas in 2021 and I have to say that literally saves me soooo much time (and it doesn’t kill my back lol). I literally fill it, turn it on and go straight into prepping my jars… last year I was making to order… this year I decided to make my full spring and summer collection so that I had on hand for shows, local stores and online orders. I spent three weeks making candles to last throughout the spring and summer season… which btw helps with freeing up more time to plan for fall and winter season… okay that’s my extra tip of the day lol keep up the fantastic work you’re doing girl 💕 p.s. also I definitely am slacking on content creation lol I’ve always been bad at social media but I’m currently working on that lol
The last few years, I've been doing commercial design and art work for brands and have had an online shop during that time...but I'm finally doing my first in-person pop-up shop and I'm so nervous! This series is extremely detailed and helpful. Thank you for providing the information!
this is wonderfully informative! thank you 😊 I am a small business, making hand embroidered works, my special thing is micro crochet jewellery. I've been told my crochet looks like dried flowers, realism is what I aim for. It is very intensive work though. My one issue is marketing myself
I make acrylic and watercolor paintings, greeting cards, stickers and totes. I honestly never stop making them and this year I’m signed up for 15 events. I’ll be over here dead if you need me 🤣
I'm glad my videos help! I was sooo nervous before my first pop-up, but trust me the experience will be totally worth it & you'll eventually be more excited than nervous!
Hi. I just started watching your channel. It’s so great. I notice you had the posh jars in this old videos but don’t have them in your recent videos. Did they not sell well? How much did you sell the 7oz candles for (in the posh jar)? Thank you.
Crochet, im trying to stock up for like fall and winter but im looking into doing this for a living. My town has a market once a month but i dont feel ready for it. i tried before and epicaly failed lol.
I do custom sneakers. I'm, hopefully, doing an art event so I'm nervous. Selling custom sneakers that are made ahead of time is a bit tricky but these videos does help ease my nerves
Hi!! I'm considering doing a comprehensive video on how much my materials and inventory costs:) I tend to get most candle materials from Makesy, Candle Science, & the thrift store!
I make painted pickets. I sell them for 35 $ each. I sell 800-1500$ at each show. I luv doing shows. ( pop ups. ) I used to make American doll clothes. I’ve sold for years. I luv it. Luv your videos.
I make hand beaded earrings, like native american type... fringe, peyote stitch, etc. it takes a couple hours to a couple days for me to finish a pair of earrings depending on how focused and ambitious i am feeling lol
8:35 This has to be one of THE best and most informative how to series.
I’m still watching, but I had to stop and comment
Happy to help! Thanks for watching:)
