  • @DJJezzebella
    @DJJezzebella 2 года назад +1

    Ok, so what that was in reference to was there was a horrible fiasco not too long before that in the Grammys when the nominees for best "Heavy Metal" were Jethro Tull up against Metallica's "Black" album, which was the clearly the only appropriate choice. Not just because it was a breakthrough album for them which I know the diehards will disagree with me on this but mainly because Metallica was the only heavy metal artist of the ones mentioned that were nominees for starters Jethro Tull is not even considered to be a heavy metal band to begin with. I don't know what they are "technically" but they're not metal. Perhaps they are Whimsical Skipping Renaissance Faire Dinosaur Rock? They probably call them progressive alternative or something stupid like that but that's not the point! They're sure as shit not heavy metal! More to the point, the album that was up against Metallica was no match to Metallica's pinnacle album still to this day! Phuck! Every song on it's a hit. That's the album that put Metallica on the map. True every song was great but the downfall of that is then now all of a sudden every douche and his wanna be cheerleader girlfriend were all tea bagging to Metallica now too on the the new bandwagon! But Jethro Tull winning Metallica's award almost started a riot! I thought that was on really good taste that tough accepted that on Metallica's behalf. I never even saw that footage until just now because I started boycotting those award shows pretty much because of that incident. We all did.
