im happy if it vanishes into obscurity ...only thing worth saving is flea's basslines ...dave navarro sucks ass & anthony has to be sat down to write the lyrics or be fired from the band
Anthony was so unhappy here 😞💔 this was during a period of uncertainty in the band and things weren’t going so well with Dave and he was dealing with massive personal struggles. Hard to watch but I’m comforted in knowing the Californication era and a period of rebirth were around the bend. ❤️
🤣🤣 ok. he actually seems pretty positive here! oh… of course…. any period without John we’re supposed to believe that the rest of the guys were living in constant turmoil… FORGOT
@@coldacre its true though, have you read his book ? every true fan knows what Anthony went through shortly after John left and how it was some of his darkest days. same with john. but john was beginning to get himself together late 96/97 and rejoined clean in 98.

@@Vekikev1 its a great album but people bash the fact that Dave didnt suit the chilis near as much and John did not directly the album, ive never really see people necessarily bashing Dave directly lol just his reign in rhcp and how he didnt fit. sure you can say but OHM is an amazing album... right.. it is ! because Chad Anthony and Flea wrote it aswell and they have the true rhcp in them. I love Janes Addiction and Dave is an amazing player but he just doesnt suit the chilis its that simple. Suck at music? I’m willing to bet my dick that you have never been an innovator of a completely new style of music that inspired hundreds/thousands/probably millions of people and bands around the world 😂 🤦♂️ good try though. People who think like that are usually bitter failures as musicians who think they’re better than they really are. And it’s pathetic that someone like Anthony who was never musically/vocally trained was able to become that main innovator, solely starting with just his charisma, free spirit, love for music, love for his friends, and love for poetry. And here you are, such a “talented” musician who never made it anywhere near the level of wisdom and success in music 😂 Anthony was the actual catalyst that created their innovative style. The one who introduced Flea to the guy who was responsible for Flea picking up a bass, that guy being Hillel Slovak. Anthony was the whole reason this band happened. And his evolution from starting with the birth of Funkadelic Punk Rap to now is nothing less than incredible. Your comment is ignorant my friend. There’s a difference between “sucking” at music and just not knowing much of anything about music theory, but is smart, motivated, and inspired enough to dedicate his whole life to learning and becoming one of the most iconic, innovative, and entertaining frontmen that has ever lived. Suck at music my ass……..😂 keep practicing buddy, maybe you’ll get somewhere. Im sure working on having a better charisma, free spirit, non judgmental/spiritual connection with yourself and others might actually help you WAY more than just “not sucking at music” like you are leading others to believe about yourself 🤣
This is about 10 years before Gadinsky heard the tracks.
This really made me laugh
Wait.. Gadinsky heard the tracks??
@@ChloeAlexander I didn’t know that Gadinsky heard the tracks.
Did Gadinsky hear the tracks?
What's wrong John?
Very interesting. Weird to see such a good quality low key interview.
Was thinking the same thing.
LOL not so sure about that, ol Molly doesn't really ask interesting questions, though its ok, lacks charisma somewhat

It’s kind of a shame that they weren’t able to release some more of the music they had been working on with Dave before John came back
Nah
Agree. One Hot Minute is underrated.
LOVE HIM!!! Forever ❤️🔥🥰
1996 with 2012 quality!!
88-90 was also a really good era. and 86-88 with Hillel
damn... he's ALWAYS been this with it, in tune

Anthony é lindo em todas as idades! ❤
My crush 😂
He’s so adorable!
Years later Gandiski will hear the tracks.
Too bad John refuses to learn anything off of One Hot Minute and this album has been buried in their past.
True...
And sadly I'm afraid it's going to be the same story for the Josh era
