What a cool watch! The skeletonized barrel with a power reserve is an upscale feature. Oris keeps putting out quality watches. Great warranty and service interval, too.
Good review, it’s an interesting watch with a pretty cool movement. I am currently wearing a Lorier Neptune IV because I like the vintage style, solid build quality and affordable price. The Miyota movement is running great and keeping excellent time.
Beautiful watch. I love the dial and case shape. Shame it is too thick at 12.8mm for a manual winding movement. Would have expected it to be under 12mm.
I can find no reason to spend this much on this watch, Grand Seiko offers a mechanical piece that looks like it descended from the heavens at the same price (the dial might be from pixie dust or gold stardust, dunno). And since you asked, I'm wearing a Longines Spirit 37 mm, which costs less than half and looks way better, but that's just my opinion
18k Tissot Vintage Powermatic 80 In Yellow Gold, with an 18k Ulysse Nardin folding clasp to match the case,, i also have the Oris Cal 400 in 43mm with a rubber strap
It should not take more than 2min to wind this watch fully because this is the time I spend for my calibre 114 which has 10 days (double) power reserve. I would consider this caliber if it had a rotor to wind by it self beside winding by hand. Then it would be a great option against IWC 7 days with price of 12k$
Where is the iconic coin bezel, date pointer and casedral hands? In house movements double the price tag with simplified redesign? What a disappointment from Oris

Awesome Chris you do such a great job doing these vids
Thank you so much, and I'm glad that you enjoy them!
Thanks for the review again Chris. I see my Instagram plea finally paid off 🙂 This is definitely on my buy list.
Indeed it did! Just let us know when you are ready, and thank you for watching!

Big fan, love my Aquis Caliber 400
This would look nice with it Dan ;)
Very nice detailed review, thanks!
Lovely review Chris!
Great review Chris! I’m wearing my SBGA373 on a leather strap. Pointer dates from any brand are very cool.
Glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for the feedback!
Very cool watch. Wearing my gshock casioak at the moment.
Always a great choice!

It is due to the big size of barrels which are big enough to hold 120 hours of reserve

Hi, how are you, can you tell me about this Oris Big Crown Caliber 473 watch, who would be your direct competitors?
Big Crown Calibre 473 is a big improvement from the 38 hours offered by previous version
Thanks for the review -- the dial doesn't have enough "contrast" - it's a little muted compared to the handset
Glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for the feedback!
Still the problem with the jumping minute hand??

Very nice, thank you for sharing!
Oris is such a great brand
I'm wearing a Vostiok Amphibia black scuba dude, because I don't have enough money for a decent mechanic watch :D

8 Minutes to fully wind ! I dont even like winding my speedy for 20 seconds. Love the colour, though i might prefer it's little brother instead.
For that price I'll stick with my FC Monolithic (which is what I'm wearing 🤘)
Screw-down crown on a handwound watch and only 50M WR? It doesn't sound right for me.
I'm sorry, WHAT?! 8 minutes to Wind up this thing? Gosh. No-go for me, even tho I love it.
Is it just me or does that small seconds circle look wonky at about 6 o’clock? If so, that’s really bad QC!
It's the domed crystal, I saw that too lol
Wonderful watch, but way too small.
If only they made manual wind watches with a date and power reserve that are larger, like 42mm. No such thing exists.
Reading out the specs is not a review
Make sure to watch the rest of the video :)

18.5 lug width? Why?
It takes 8 minutes to fully wind, holy mother of god, think I pass on that.
