Have been battling with a lot of issues recently and not picked up a guitar in months. This came up on my feed, I watched and listened to this. Wrote it down and played it which brought me peace. Thank you Marco.

This is the way everyone should teach chords. Sets you up for success. Great lesson. Classic “I wish I knew then what I know now.”

Due to hand-related disabilities, I am experimenting with open tuning instead of standard. As someone who just started very recently, this video was extremely approachable.
These chords even sound wonderful on my entry-level electric guitar and practice amp. Hahaha

Beautiful progression of chords elevate from this, like the dancing rain as it falls on my window pane... thank you

This is very well explained Marco, adding tonal colours down the fretboard. It makes a difference from the fairly standard ‘this is what Keith Richard plays’ tute. Well done and thank you. Have a popper 🎉

As a banjo player I can appreciate the tuning very much and I use it when I play guitar for the reasons you are showing here, great video thanks for sharing.

Wow! I got in the first 5 comments!
Seriously though, you'll all love open G. Easy chords, rich sounds. Also a tuning to get into and out of easily.

This is fantastic!!! I just bought a six string Córdoba Travel mini O guitar after playing Baritone tuning dgbd.
I can’t find your “tabs below” as you said. How can I get them ? I want to play this. Also looking for lessons including playing the bass melodies (lots I want to learn) I do have fun playing the blues barring the chords with a glass bottle.

I have realized that the prettiest sounds on the guitar are some of the easiest to play. Finger stretches are great but a nice groove, I think is so much more satisfying. No more finger gymnastics.

Missed opportunity..instead of muting the d bass (6th string) Add the 5th scale degree in the bass register
Or tune that string down to C natural for even more orgasmic harmony.😉
    Not trying to detract either
This is an excellent lesson from a great player and teacher!!
