Again thank you for that for the review and tutorial always very detailed I was really impressed with the sheath the last fixed blade . 4 months ago I purchased Boker Cub Pro in a beautiful leather sheath but with a long leather tangle loop for the belt. So I have to have a special sheath made with metal clip I wish the clip was bigger and longer but I could still slip it into my back pocket or waist.
Hey Stassa. I collect both Fixed and folders. But right now I’m liken fixies. Absolutely love your small fixed blades. I enjoy the whole video, folders as well. See ya,Pokey, pokey
That Grit knife looks absolutely awesome, probably speaks to me more than any knife I've seen in a long time. Wish I had $335, because the design and execution on that is just incredible
I was stoked on the Swedish knife until I saw the price tag. I can pick up an American made fixed blade from Bradford ford $100. Just can’t pull the trigger on that knife
I really like every one of them. I own the RR and carry it from time to time at work, its a super knife for the cost. Im trying to learn how to sharpen so I don't mind the fact that it dulls relatively quickly....
I just bought a Esee izula in s35vn and ordered a set of scales for it I'm beyond excited to get it also ordered a cold steel in s35vn and in a couple weeks I'm ordering a viper bersus in m390 and marbled carbon my collection is about to get larger
Hey Stass , I've had the Rough Ryder fixie for several years now . Love that little Thing ! It dont make a lot of sense being so small and so thick , But it Works ! And is very hand pleasing ! , Hope u like it too ! I put soft straps on the sheath , and go front scout carry , dont even know its there ! One of my most carried fixies !
I have had very good experience with rough rider knives. quality has always been excellent. 440 a not the best steel but not the worst. theirs seems to be well heat treated and I prefer it to Buck's 420 hc.
I would like to see how the Rough Rider edge holds up. I've been wanting to try and EDC fixed blade without spending allot. I bought a Duratech 6-inch Neck Knife, which I like the look of, but the sheath is not taco style and my small ulticlip won't fit it. Both seem like a must for pocket carry to me.
I've got a second-hand Spyderco PM2 with aftermarket (I believe) copper scales, and I actually like the smell of copper. What I DON'T like is how often I have to polish it up because of tarnish. I mean, I appreciate a good patina on something like that but it gets to the point where it doesn't look very good anymore, so I have to remove the clip and use some elbow grease. It's also soft and scratches easily. But...que será será, I still love it, even with the added heft, it feels so solid in the hand.
I carry a fixed blade as an edc in AEB-L and it's been amazing. Not sure I'd want a small knife in steel as thick as the last one you showed, but to each his own. I somewhat disagree with your statement of "this is how you do a sharpening choil- I like more of a ricasso so my fingers don't slide up into the blade, then a filed in sharpening choil. It's all designer's choice, but I prefer something a little more traditional. All good looking knives.
Hey guys I don’t have the funds but northern knives has some great edc fixed blade handmade in magnacut for 200 or so and a mule team in magnacut with nice scales and leather for 230
Hey. Careful Levi, Mr. Stassa will give you a 'starter' list of 50 or so good ones. You'll be selling your possessions, but you'll have a killer collection of fixies! ✨😹
@@timothyruth4980 yeah I know I've been watching his videos and my wallet is hiding. It does seem Mr stassa's taste and wants in a small pocketable fixed blade and mine seems to be the same so I'm really glad I found this channel.
I have the tops bull trout and it’s a great knife little, only thing I would complain about for EDC if the leather sheath it comes with, which i’m looking to swap out for a kydex sheath.
The CJRB Alt Pyrate should left in this vision of the copper, don't allow to get patina because the copper is best in orange when it's new and natural.
dunno, dude...none of this are incredible. Maybe the one in magnacut if not in magnacut, if you get me. But i appreciated your job since you are not the same knifeguy we got here, but you know what you are talking about. You know what geometry is, what HT are for etc. Keep on.
@@Swearengen1980 it's a long story to cut it short. anyway magna is another steel we do not need. Magna is for people who doesn't care about their knives and hate rust. There nothing more to say about it. And, again, due to a not easy HT, since it work better at 61,5hrc it's really hard to find a real good one. Said that, TripleBh found some problems during resharpening and that's one of the reasons why Spyderco do not use it. This is the cut version, by the way. Hope it helps you.
😊 M M I'm 9Sorry off subject, I lost my Artisan Sea Snake in s35vn and they don't sell it anymore. Does anybody have one I can buy..I saw Stassa reviewed one or did a short..Ive been depressed over losing it. ILL check responcaeas thanks.
Best channel for wdc fixed blade guys by far
Wow thats a dope looking knife...clicks link and checks orice.....im good
339 bucks for that sweden one is rough. Beautiful though.
Rough? It's absurd for AEB-L.
I recently got that last knife, the Rough Ryder, for under $10. It came reasonably sharp.
Would love to see the Cleo tested ! Looks outstanding for $150😮
The Swede blade does look pretty nice, that says a lot from someone who's family came from Norway. 😉

I come over to your channel exactly for the fixed blade content! Good stuff man! Also, Geaux Tigers
Cleo 1st bud, I’m excited that artisan has done a nice compact premium folder 🎉🙌🏻🔥
That Rough Ryder is very cool! Thanks for sharing with us 👍🏻
A knife has me depressed . I lost my Artisan cutlery sea snake in s35vn.can I buy one from someone out here.thanks I'll check back...
I like the Grit's sheath, but that's about it. If I could have one made like that for one of my MKC's, I definitely would.

@@terryclark9532 I agree, but I'd say he quality, sheath, and hollow grind might set it apart. But still not worth he price

Stassa. The Grit knife web site says the steel is sharpened on a waterwheel . Pretty cool. See ya
Great content as always sir. Keep em coming

Ngl, that A&C Grit is a good looking knife!
Review the Grit please..ma it’s pricey but like the look and makeup of materials!

Man that grit is dope. Awesome blade. Either of the artisans are awesome too

Can't wait to see the review on the rough rider
I would like to see a review on the Smith & Sons Axiom first please. I have had my eye on them for a while.
Copper gets a great patina through time.
6 out of 6 for me.....some nice looking steel.
Good stuff Stassa. Thanks
I very much want the Artisan cutlery. Lacanico designs are awesome and that clip point is tough
That Grit is beautiful! 👀😍
Fellow Louisianian I'm in Clinton Louisiana.
Curious how many boxes that rough rider can cut after being sharpened. Also please follow up on the patina of the copper cjrb.
J adore les plaquettes du rat 2.. 😍
Very interested in seeing what that Rough Ryder can do. Is $20 enough for most EDC tasks?
That Grit fixed blade is interesting. Not too big with decent size handle
the a&c looks cool
Hey. Ya, it sure does! And with a 'personal' connection, to it. Nice. ✨😺

Yes
Some killer knives.
what can magna cut, cut? vs any other steel?
A&C next! Grit or Gritter is my middle daughter's nickname 😊
That copper Pyrite will look badass in a year or two.
Hey Biomas. We can put money on it lookin better than me, in two years! ✨😹
What does CJRB stand for anyway?
Copper pyrite review please
I just realized, I don't think i've ever smelled my hand after holding copper 🤔
👍

Is it really Titanium or just a color in this case?
Hey. I don't believe the recent Prodo series is a Ray design? I don't have one in front of me, but isn't it a similar profile? Just shorter? ✨😺
Definitely a ray design via artisan blade show videos I have no life sir hopefully that help ya out.
My reg pirite sucks, button stick is crazy, the rest are the best ever
Where can y buy the rat 2 g10 lego please
