Rebel bus is pretty solid with the medic and red save heroes. (Luke, Ahsoka, Din, Boba, Sabine). You get good value out of the extra wounds and the suppression doesn't bother them much. Just put a rebel trooper squad with a medic in the transport and suddenly you have a mobile field hospital that can deploy halfway up the field, heal twice a turn and block LOS. Very handy to protect your melee heroes.
You guys should do a podcast where you go over every D tier unit you've covered, but tier list them with changes you agree would make them better AND balanced. Like for the T-47, give it innate Cover 2 and X points cheaper. For LAAT, increase base firing range to 4 and make X points cheaper. Stuff like that. I play for fun so I'd be curious how you'd balance them based on competitiveness.
I'd personally rank the Landspeeder as "A" tier. To me, flexibility is trump, especially in 2.6! Also, speed (Speeder 1, Unstable R5 Astromech) matters a lot in those recurring situations where it has become clear in round two or so who has the upper hand on one side of the battle field and you need to react and rush to score POIs on the other side. There are many great options for the Landspeeder: offensive tech including ION, which I find super useful and defensive tech such as the 'Outer Rim Speeder Jockey' and 'Gonk Droid'. Despite white defense dice, a fast unit that his fairly robust (Armor 2, Cover 2 and Shield 2) with a decent attack pool (Arsenal 3) is something to consider.
An option that would work forntrying to keep a chain with the Aqua Droids being a vehicle is the new Onboard Comms Channel. Issue to the Aqua Droid they can chain to what they need to
I think one of the bigger things for the LAAT is the second Ordinance slot, it still doesn't make them some kind of destructive beast, but it feels less required to perform recovers by alternating which one you fire off. I do kinda agree that old transport rules would probably be fine, I think so long as the units inside aren't able to score, people will likely be disembarking round 1-2 anyways to contest POIs, and characters like Anakin and Vader who are potent LAAT drops are kinda already getting in fairly early anyways.
Talking about what is written on little bits cardboard episode. Variety in winners between lists and variety in the types of winning lists within a faction would be very good. Now we just need more mission variety.
Putting the imp LAAT behind the GAV is 100% wrong. The only reason to take the GAV is for transport but the LAAT with pilot is cheaper and gets your transported unit further up the board, thus doing a better job enabling your charging melee units. Plus the speed 3 can allow you to sneak a point if you need to cover the ground. Its definitely a niche unit but its ability to enable certain list archetypes should at least put it on par with dark troopers for their niche use.
I have been playing exclusively SC I dropped the medic on the bus early as the action was a steep cost, but maybe with super Mando's I can try it again
we really gotta talk about droidekas blocking/not blocking LOS. Technically droidekas are shorter than B1s and B2s but we as a community are ok hobbying for advantage?
I think that the AAT takes an extra hit because of the existence of the snail tank as things are now, there just isn't much of a use-case for taking it as such
ISP in the Wookie Defenders is amazing with the beam cannon. I highly recommend giving it a shot.

That sounds hype
This sounds like a good idea honestly

Aqua droids is very nice!

In the game I referred to they have no guns, they just did a move and medic every turn, and it worked well for him

I cannot accept that the AAT is worst than Dark Troopers

Chewie's AT-ST got left in the garage
It and Marquand are also A anyway
