I can see how people would say that she doesn't have "soul" because she seems very calculated & doing things in a "perfect way" but it's mostly quite subjective. 5. Another baffling & baseless claim; her voice/style of singing lends itself to RnB (diction/phrasing, riffs & runs etc.) a lot but she does venture out & she usually does it well. 6. I was quite surprised when I first discovered that she lip-syncs at times, but she actually sings live a lot & is able to do so whilst dancing. Some claim that she never lip-syncs and that's preposterous; others claim that she always lip-syncs, which is utterly ridiculous! 7. She definitely improvises at times but unlike the past, her musicality has increased so it usually blends with the melodic structure of the songs are instead of compromising it. 8. I like her growls in certain songs & live performances eg. *"It's Eleven Thiiiiirrrrrrtyyy and the club iiiiissss"* & *"Now that it's ova, stop CAAALLLLINGGG me, come pick up your clothes"* 🐾 But she growls almost all of her upper belts these days & I wish she would sing them without distortion, at least half of the time. What separate Beyoncé from other artist when they Lip compared to her. Beyoncé isn't using the actually backing track from the audio from the album she goes into the studio before the tour or show and record the audio live or do it live in rehearsal (once) and use that audio, so it sounds live but it don't make sense for her to do that every night on tour. It's impossible

Surprisingly Most of Coachella was live because the audio is different from week one. I noticed on the live album. Etc etc. She lip the most on Tour as she should to preserve her voice
There is nothing wrong with as a fan wanting your fav artist to be the best and improve in all aspects of their career and skill. Sometimes I think as fans we can come off as ungreatly because Beyoncé really has come along way. And she is still unappreciated which is sad because she is talented. Thanks for making this video.
People saying Beyoncé doesn't have "soul" are the same ones saying CAguilera have soul when she's just screaming and struggling to oversing even the simplest songs. Even Whitney had moments of oversinging that's under the "soul" header. If Soul means oversinging and indulging in showing off for the sake of it, then I'm glad she doesn't have any soul. If Soul means feeling the song, the lyrics and the emotions and expressing it cohesively through vocals that tie in with the music, then she's definitely got soul for days.
This point is so subjective. I would also add that people can't understand that you can sing with both technique and emotion! They only focus on the technical part to say she doesn't put emotion in her songs
Stop bringing Christina in, She's an amazing singer. She has limited technique compared to Beyonce but its a fact that her voice is more unique and beautiful than Bee. She sings blues and jazz with a lot more depth. Her vocal color changes through her range, which people love about her. While Beyonce has a pretty plain voice and it's not for many people.
@Morgan Anexi Oh no, her Gospel inspired vocals are almost always on point, especially when she was younger. But later, after around 91-92, it became less gospel inspired and more pushed and showy, IMO. @@minhvipham8850 Christina had a naturally better voice, but her awful technical skills have pretty much been the bane of most of her live performances, especially when she oversings by adding quite unnecessary and repetitive melismas to songs. That is why she ended up sounding like a chainsaw in the early 2010s. She's best when she's in the middle of the 4th octave, that's where her voice truly shines.

You're a hater from the pit of hell to say Beyonce's screaming when she belts.... Beyonce has been famous for over 30 years and I've NEVER heard Beyonce scream. Not even in a film role. She's much more melodic with her belts than any other contemporary singer - to the point some criticize her for ALWAYS being so 'composed'

Nice Video. But you definitely went off with those live and lip sync stuff you displayed. Beyoncé definitely lip syncs at times and so do other artists too. While singing #GetMeBodied, she was singing live. I mean, that was the Ms. Carter show. And also, #ICare! Bey was totally live. You've probably not watched or paid attention to those particular vids though. Mind you, I'm not criticizing your work, it's a great analysis, I'm only pointing out my.. ...
Benjamin Bawa Beyoncé has NEVER sung get me bodied live. She’s been lipping that number since the B-Day era. She has 4 different pre-recorded tracks for that song, the one for the Beyoncé experience tour, the I am world tour, the Mrs crater world tour, and finally the same track she used for both weekends at Coachella
flwtchs _ Coloratura mezzo & dramatic soprano have similar “paradoxical” impressions. One’s dark & steely but high; the other is lyric-light & agile but lower and belty.
I’ve just never felt anything when Beyoncé sings. I’m always impressed by her singing but rarely am I impacted emotionally by her singing. I personally don’t consider her a soul singer for that reason. A great example is her cover of Back to Black. The song is so emotionally powerful and griping when sung by Amy and I feel like all of that was missing when Beyoncé sung her cover. But I do agree that soul is subjective so I understand that a lot of her fans feel her voice when she sings. I just can’t relate 🤷🏿♂️
MikeJMCarey93.... that’s how I feel. Like she covered Whitney’s IWALY and Lauryn Hills Ex Factor but I felt nothing. I just thought it was cute. Or no offense it’s like Ariana covering Whitney(I Have Nothing for the Obamas) or Aretha(Natural Woman Tribute) Or Bruno Mars covering MJ. Like they are all amazing singers but their voices are missing that emotion to me.
Hot Chocolate Whitney, Aretha and MJ has this ethereal emotion in their voice. It can’t be taught. I remember Bey saying a producer has her watch MJ sing Who’s Loving You over and over to learn how to connect with the music
MissNelly ... 💯. It’s not saying anything bad about Bey but her voice isn’t naturally “emotional” . Her voice is for Say My Name and Crazy in Love types. That’s what fits her voice. Not a Who’s loving You or even her song Listen(a amazing song but I don’t feel the emotion from her; I just the technique). But I’m a fan of her early work nothing but respect to her.
I love her voice and some of her songs but I just feel like there’s...something missing and I can’t put my finger on it. I know she’s amazing but it’s not capturing my soul or anything. I like it better when it’s huskier, too.
She can sing but its nothing special I would not put her in the same category as Whitney Houston , Mariah Carey , Anita Baker....Her voice doesn't give me the chill affect or the emotional connection I get from Mariah carey....that's how I look at it....
Objectively speaking, Beyonce's range, versatility, control, technique, etc are comparable to the greats, i.e. Whitney, Mariah. Everything else is subjective.
@AshTheOne According to the masses? Lol you conducted your own survey or... As I said, as a vocalists when it comes to things like agility and range she measures up to the greats like a Whitney. Whether she receives her proper recognition from the masses is besides the point.
@AshTheOne I'm not mad. What would give you that idea? Expound....lol She is not known as one of the best all around performers to ever do it just for her dancing. She is also a star rated vocalist. But believe what you want *shrugs*
Tbh. No hate, no shade... She sings the same Melody/ tone in all her songs. There's nothing different really. She's an amazing singer, no doubt about that. But. It's all the same. Listen to this with ur eyes closed if u have too (to really focus on the melody or w.e). U hear no difference.

Opera and Classical are different genres. In opera women sing strictly in head voice. Ave Maria is a classical piece.
MoM: French is the language to know
Hispanics: Hold my corona
can u do a video on brandy's voice or best riffs or something
Nobody better not ever come for Mariah or Beyonce again
Amen.
Maybe I'm late, but i need to know what's the title of the beautiful ones performance, cause i cannot find it anywhere, like where did you found it
Can someone tell me which city The Beautiful Ones was performed at?
Theres a RUclipsr said her voice doesn't have any especial , MC a Legend a Bestselling Artist a Iconic a song bird has 19 no.1 song in billboard said Beyonce runs and riffs is very particular and very careful in any notes reason her song is hard to copy and sing so I listened to MC.
Which performance is 10:08 from?
that was weird that she mixed ‘new york new york’ . I wonder why she didn’t belt it.
yes
Did you say some of her songs are hard to perform yeah try All of The. A K A Love on top, I was here, etc
ma soeur de coeur
make about ariana pls!!!
Her father made her run while singing as a child
my fave part mon partie preferee etait 5:41 to 5:45
Like a lot but tell me something what would be “a risk taking” move for her?
You're a hater from the pit of hell to say Beyonce's screaming when she belts.... Beyonce has been famous for over 30 years and I've NEVER heard Beyonce scream. Not even in a film role. She's much more melodic with her belts than any other contemporary singer - to the point some criticize her for ALWAYS being so 'composed'
Listen to the og track and then live and its different bc its her irl
The only note ive never seen was whistle register from bey
Not the hero we deserved but the hero we needed
What is the song from 1:58 ????
Who’s cares Beyoncé slays lol
Demonstrate *_*
And dont forget that X Fartor performance
People are jealous out there. Period!
What happened with resentment tho hm
Wow. I love your video. I'm from the beehive but people really think she is made of steel. She is a really,REALLY strong woman and I love her so much✨ but you can not expect someone to do EVERYTHING perfect ! It's just simply impossible . And.... That myth of people saying she sounds too aggressive... I'm sorry but only people who are not musical would say that.. like.. she knows what she's doing🥴😁✨
So yeah that was my opinion.. I'm dutch and I'm 12 so sorry if my spelling or anything is wrong. Bye y'all
Merci :) no problem for your english im french and yours is good especially for a 12yo
@@Litalici0us thank you!
Ma la traduzione in italiano????Peccato
Is that profile pic you?
It is
@@Litalici0us hmm
You forgot the biggest one.. about her voice change🙄 how everyone complains she sounds like a man now.
Cameron .... I’ve legit never heard that😂 Just that her voice deepened(because of the kids and age). Personally I find her tone better now before in songs like Listen(beautiful song) it was to light.
Jennifer Hudson!
Beyoncé has grown vocally and she would be in the category where you can tell the artist by their voice, these artist now and days vocally lazy in my opinion. I’ve seen her like three times not giving it a thousand percent but still gave hundred percent lol! She’s a hard working woman and she could be tired or factors. She’s human and people either hate or love to hate her ever since the destiny’s child days after the two of members left scandal smh and other factors lol smh
bonne video😚😚
Merci 😀
Es que tu peux faire le care de sait quel fait
Quoi?
@@Litalici0us je dit es que tu peux faire ce quel fait
lol, echo effect. You mean reverb.
Probably. As you maybe noticed English is not my first language 🤷🏼♀️
Oh! Do a video about the ultimate MYTH that Beyonce isn't passed her vocal prime.
Sorry my English is basic I don't understand this myth, what does it mean?
Litalici0us I think the myth is that Beyonce isn’t past her Prime vocally?
@@clawmh15 Yeah. That's it.
7:12 lol I can't even hear as the guitar
THE BESTTTTT DEAL WITH IT HOESSS
Les gens qui disent qu'elle a la même voix que toutes les autres Noires s'expriment sûrement mal mais je comprends bien ce qu'ils veulent dire et c'est pas faux.
Mind you, I'm not criticizing your work, it's a great analysis, I'm only pointing out my.. ...
Benjamin Bawa Get me Bodied was 100% lipsynced don’t be delusional
Benjamin Bawa Beyoncé has NEVER sung get me bodied live. She’s been lipping that number since the B-Day era. She has 4 different pre-recorded tracks for that song, the one for the Beyoncé experience tour, the I am world tour, the Mrs crater world tour, and finally the same track she used for both weekends at Coachella
That she is a lyric soprano
flwtchs _ Coloratura mezzo! Which is why people perceive her voice - especially in youth - as soprano-like.
flwtchs _ Coloratura mezzo & dramatic soprano have similar “paradoxical” impressions. One’s dark & steely but high; the other is lyric-light & agile but lower and belty.
7:13 was her backtrack even on 😭 I think she just let the guitar do the singing lol
Sans éco sa voix est puissente
I’ve just never felt anything when Beyoncé sings. I’m always impressed by her singing but rarely am I impacted emotionally by her singing. I personally don’t consider her a soul singer for that reason. A great example is her cover of Back to Black. The song is so emotionally powerful and griping when sung by Amy and I feel like all of that was missing when Beyoncé sung her cover. But I do agree that soul is subjective so I understand that a lot of her fans feel her voice when she sings. I just can’t relate 🤷🏿♂️
understandable
MikeJMCarey93.... that’s how I feel. Like she covered Whitney’s IWALY and Lauryn Hills Ex Factor but I felt nothing. I just thought it was cute.
Or no offense it’s like Ariana covering Whitney(I Have Nothing for the Obamas) or Aretha(Natural Woman Tribute)
Or Bruno Mars covering MJ.
Hot Chocolate maybe you should listen to her album “4”. Plenty of emotions in that album.
This video just feels like a hate video. These aren’t proven myths these are opinions
Terence Julius that’s your personal nostalgia speaking
@@WElppp So and your point??!?!!?!
@AshTheOne
According to the masses? Lol you conducted your own survey or...
As I said, as a vocalists when it comes to things like agility and range she measures up to the greats like a Whitney. Whether she receives her proper recognition from the masses is besides the point.
@AshTheOne
I'm not mad. What would give you that idea? Expound....lol
She is not known as one of the best all around performers to ever do it just for her dancing. She is also a star rated vocalist.
But believe what you want
*shrugs*
Tbh. No hate, no shade...
She sings the same Melody/ tone in all her songs. There's nothing different really. She's an amazing singer, no doubt about that. But. It's all the same. Listen to this with ur eyes closed if u have too (to really focus on the melody or w.e). U hear no difference.
Same melody ?, what ?, she is not Adele
She over sings resentment so much now it’s disappointing
Lmao
Lmao
Omg how did I get here... the worst vibrato I've ever heard!
The biggest myth is beyonce is a good singer and is an interesting artist
Beyoncé, Whitney Houston , Mariah Carey, are star listed vocalists, by vocals experts, next !
