Do you know when the "Voyager" crypto platform will come to Canada and can you buy and store ADA from there ?
You are so relaxed making your videos great I'm just trying to figure out how to transfer to another wallet, keep the vids coming
Hahah thanks Jeff far from relaxed lots of takes lol. Wallets re pretty easy to use just always copy and paste!
Can you or anyone advise about bots including grid bots, here in Canada?
Could you please do a how to trade video on here and how to set a recurring trade and also how to put your gains back into your wallet and to your Trezor or ledger. So glad I found a Canadian that’s new into this crypto lol
HI yes I can do that!
Unless you own your coins on like a ledger nano they’re not your coins you give them to someone to earn interest they can easily takeoff with everything. It’s happened numerous times already so it can happen to you
Do you have any video talking about hot or cold wallet versus taxtion
Hi Calvin. There is no difference if there is no interest. If you earn interest these are taxed. The ultimate tax block is to find a private wallet! lookup wasabi or blue wallet.
awesome info. nicely arranged and informative. In the case of the custodial wallet like Ledn, do they issue tax forms for the interest gained? and is the 6% calculated from the market price? I think it makes sense to put a portion of holdings in a safe custodial wallet to gain some interest.6% of the current market price is a lot of money!!!
Thanks! Um not sure if they do or not, should look into it. But you receive 6% on the amount deposited. So if you have 1 BTC invested you will have 1.06 within the year. Price has nothing to do with it, just an added feature if it keeps going up!
What are the fees like sending btc to a cold wallet like ledger? Then the fees having to send it back to an exchange? Say on Newton for an example?
You can choose. Right now you can do it for under 1sat per bite ( 2 cents). But can go up to $10 depends on market demands and what speed you choose. Within the next 5 years expect it to be 1 cent - $40max i'd say.
I think this video would be a lot better if you explained what a secret key is and why we need to protect it. People I have spoken to have a hard time understanding what exactly a bitcoin wallet is. All it is is a place where your public address and secret key are stored. That's why a paper wallet is so simple yet effective. Write the two codes down and only you will have access to them. The bitcoin are not stored in the wallet. Your bitcoin are on the blockchain and the secret key is the access code to those bitcoin.
Does Celsius work for Canada? Ty very much
Yes it does.
Hey Darren, great video thx. Was wondering if you know if atomic wallet is able to send cryptos to coinsquare or shakepay. Also if Ledger Nano S is able to transfer cryptos to and from Shakepay or Atomic Wallet? thanks for your time.
Yes absolutely. Bitcoin to Bitcoin address doesn't matter what device! That's the freedom Bitcoin provides!
@@dhoneysett awesome, thx for that. newbie here. Would that be the same for ETH? or other altcoins?
@@claud1542 yes same for other coins. If atomic supports it has an wallet address for each coin built into the app. Usually each coin is on a Separate Blockchain meaning you need a seperate Wallet. Atomic makes it easy to have them all in one place. However most alt coins are ERC 20 tokens (built on ETH) so they will work with ETH wallet.
Hi Darren, I'm one of your recent subscribers, first of all thanks for giving us informative videos. I have a question though, I have money in my TSFA that part of it I want to invest in BTC. Would it be possible and if so, is there any taxes to be paid later on? Thanks.

what are your thoughts on Bitbuy, they have 95% cold storage, so they say?
Ive tried. If you were to keep it on an exchange Its good. However they have high withdrawal and deposit fees. All I they take about 15%. But you should not store your bitcoin on any exchange. Look what happend with RobinHood. And anytime they could lock you out, stop you from, selling, or buying. So if buy Bitcoin make sure to send it to a secure wallet.
Hello. I have some Ethereum and Litecoin on paper wallets. Could you recommend how I can transfer these to an online wallet? Thanks!

Multiple wallets could be a good idea. You will pay more fees. But spreads your risk and helps with privacy. Multiple exchanges are not a good idea because your giving multiple companies trust of your information.

Heard Axisoption wallet is the highest paying and most secure bitcoin interests wallet. How true is this?
I have been using this wallet for more than 6 months and I have been earning the 10% interests on my bitcoins.
I use this wallet too, I must say it has been very profitable to keep my bitcoins on Axisoption wallet
I’ve been using Axisoption since early November. So far so good. I’m in the US so there are a few limitations that I’m not happy about but that is not on Axisoption, that’s on the US government.
Interest has been paid daily, on time, like clockwork. Transferring from my exchange wallet to my Axisoption wallet was seamless. I’ve withdrawn a few times to pay for things which went smoothly.
I used changelly through the on site button to purchase BTC for the interest rate. That process was smooth as well.
My only hiccup with them was when it came to advanced verification/KYC. I sent in my verification documents and didn’t hear back for about 4 days. I finally reached out to AxisOption support and my verification was processed 24 hours later.
If you’re ok with the initial risk, I’d say hop aboard.
