He is from normal people, also he just did a movie named "Aftersun" which is apparently great. He is a rising star, no need to bash him just because you dont know him.
Just because you haven't heard of him, doesn't make him the bottom of the barrel. In fact he is one of the best up and coming actors. Aftersun is one of the movies of the year and he is going to be a oscar nominee after staring in it. Not to mention, his breakout role in Normal People.

Paul mescal not wearing a poppy? he loves the British TV to promote himself and loves the British ppl who watch his films! well the Republic of Ireland had its independence before ww2 and if it wasn't for these brave British soldiers who gave there lives in ww1 ww2 the Republic of Ireland wouldn't have been independent at all! they would have be under the rule of a certainly very bad regime! The poppy symbolises young men from England Scotland Wales and Ireland who gave there lives in ww1 ww2 so even the people who live in the Republic are free! It has nothing to do with troubles in Ireland so I find it disrespectful

The only reason he is able to sit there on the couch is becsuse of the men that gave there lives in the war who gave there lives for people to live freely! so im sorry I think it is very ignorant

@@freddiebburkinshaw8221 Am very well aware of what the poppy stands for. You do realise at the same time WW1 was happening, Ireland was trying to free themselves from British occupation. As a result British soldiers where executing Irish resistance. So it is very nieve of you to expect an Irish person to wear a poppy if they do not want to. I wear a poppy and have visited the Somme. I do also realise that the history of British forces in other countries, has left long lasting resentment. He has said nothing against wearing a poppy, it's just not for him to wear one.
