This is indeed good shit. Finally some music more like Wintersuns self titled album, yiey! What he will be capable of in 10 years? - probably needing a lot more of RAM to get things happen :)
I dont get the comments saying they copy wintersun. I wintersun is my favorite band but they dont have a monopoly on "Epic metal" and i see it as an absolutly win that more bands adopt this amazing concept of heavy orchestrations, sick riffs, and beautifull melodies
@@Krakeloa i disagree, like i said, the production is similar, but every melody is original, and yes his voice sounds like jaris, but thst should not keep him from singing or producing music, he is an aboslutly a fantastic musician And shouldnt wintersun fans love this? He fills the void between the long album releases of wintersun with absolutly killer music
I absolutly agree with you! It doesn't matter if it sounds like Wintersun, when it sounds as good as Wintersun on their first album. Particularly when Wintersun didn't releasend anything since 2017. So be happy that after it is apparantly Time 2 will never be released you've got Atavistia instead.
@@encouragingIegacy Yes, Time 2 has now been released. But Jari probably fooled us. He intentionally held back the release to peak the hype around it and now he gets the maximum profit out of it.
@@alexanderivanov8850 Don't be so cynical, Russian brother. How does it help? Do you really figure Jari had some masterplan to trigger people? He might be simply in his own mind, and that's why he can create such art and musical orchestration without being too worried about peoples' impatience. ;) Let us be grateful „in spite of our suffering“. After all, this music we have freely received. Let us also freely give.
@@encouragingIegacy Thank You for calling me "Russian brother"! Despite all this shit in relations between the elites the, ordinary people should still be able to get along with each other! Time 2 is not bad, but it's nothing for me, because of the far eastern sounds on it. It seems somehow fake to me.

There's a subreddit r/manametal dedicated to the "Wintersun genre", it's not very active and no one knows about it but I encourage you to check it out and maybe help revive it a bit. You'll find some good bands there.
Haha you always make me laugh Ollie. Great review and reaction. I couldn't agree me that the "it Wintersun plagiarism" group need to calm down. It sounds like Wintersun yes, how on earth is that bad?! I want more bands to sounds like Wintersun!!! Matts done a fantastic job.
Yeah, same feelings as with the previous album. It's great music, but I just can't get over how similar it is to Wintersun. Idk I just sort of can't stand it. It lacks original ideas, something that would make it unique. But that's just my opinion, he can (and should) of course do the kind of music HE wants to do.
I mean, fucking hell, everything is copied from Wintersun to the point it just sounds pretentious. Song structure, riffs, melodies, solos, guitar sounds, drumming, orchestrations, vocals and even lyrical themes... EVERYTHING. But yeah like I said, just my opinion.
It doesn't have the sauce. It's got all the bells and whistles like wintersun, but it's kind of a surface level imitation unfortunately. It's not bad, I like many parts but it's not really glued together like Wintersun does it.
Ok. I think that the song itself is great, but it's copying Wintersun's style way too much. Also the lyrics make little sense, even though they are obviously inspired by Wintersun's vague and abstract lyric-writing system.

I'm Divided between " My god there is so much work and creativity on that song" and "That is such a copy of wintersun", thanks for the discover anyway
That's basically our solution for "The Way Of The Fire", which will only come in ~10 years. So, don't see a problem.
Only 4 years :D
Hey man! Just discovered this band today, it's good stuff!

Alright song but i feel that something is missing.

That voice 5:20 it reminds me of
Bal sagoth : Callisto rising
The dude from Bal - Sagoth had more "specifically narrative" and not deliberately low - voiced approach, but I see what you mean.
I'm super confused 🤔

Wintersun clone , nice vocals, nice orchestration, but is lacking an amazing solo that only Jari can play...

Not bad, but it's not Jari...
Nah. Some of the parts are completely, shamelessly copied.
