I've developed a way to get the vendor chest in New Atlantis in the quickest way possible. It only takes about 30 seconds to get to the chest from when you spawn into New Atlantis. If you have any questions, let me know if the comments, I'll try to answer them.

To those fellow sufferers trying this out, I did finally get it consistently. A couple things I did a bit differently that made it more consistent.
1. I faced the wall. For some reason my camera did not work properly from the side. You can better see how far you are clipping. If you clip most of the way, they you just need to adjust. It seems that any part of the wall that is not a door works great.
2. Hold down W as you are hitting the ground. It seems more consistent that trying to time your feet touching the floor.
3. HOLD W (Or whatever direction facing the wall). If you are not holding toward the wall, then you might pop back out.
It took about 30 minutes of grinding, but those sweet credits are worth it. Thanks for the vid, Espie!
Don't forget to reach up to the vendor as you are underground and buy any ship you want/can afford, then reach back over to the chest and take your money back, so you can get free ships. You won't have more money, but you will have free ships, and you could sell them if you wanted, somewhere else. They sell for a lot less.
I have done this credit glitch a few times. The third time I did it the ship's services vendor and another npc ended up in my cargo bay and wouldn't leave. I gave up and went to Xenon with them in the cargo bay and now there is no ship services vendor at New Atlantis. He hasn't returned.
Load a old save is this your first Bethesda game like what
Land on New Atlantis. Take the ship off manually, then land on Venus. Wait for the full 24 hour Local Time and return. Trade authority guy and kiosk should re-appear.
Nice to know 60 hz is sweet spot. I got in one and a half times on 120 and am going nuts trying to hit it again

Does take some of the joy of the grind. Though, when you spend a ton of money making a class b ship then immediately hijack a class c on the first flight in space a few 100k to build the c wont hurt
Did they patch it cause i cant get the credits to respawn even if i go to venus and wait 6, 12, or 24 local hours.
100% works on console but do you have any tips on positioning? It seems like every time I do get the like blink movement to happen I just hit the wall and don’t go through. I’ve gotten it to work once but I’m unsure of what I did differently that singular time.
If youre just hitting the wall, youre too close. If you go through half way youre too far away.

Edit I figured it out
You have to try and have your front left foot on the grey curb looking line, jump back, hold block, then push forward when landing in the same spot you jumped from. Fken far easier said than done. Sometimes I can get it done in 30 seconds, other times I’m there 20 minutes or more jumping like an idiot. It’s a bastard if you’re on console. As he said. It’s probably easier in PC due to the faster frame rate making it more responsive.

That “credit glitch” going under the map, and others like “stealing” suits from display cases, are no glitches, they are designed into the game. It’s a smart design too.
I'd love to hear more about this theory. Why do you think they leave this stuff in?
@@espiebodespie These chests are just their way to easily link the "shop inventory" to a chest which you normally can't see.
It's a very old engine (I know they called it 2.0, but it just's 1.0 with a couple of polishes)
Skyrim has multiple chests like that as well as do other Bethesda games, search for "dawnstar vendor chest" and you'll find a video showing that they forgot to put the chest down far enough into the ground, you can easily access it by just pointing your crosshair to the right place between two rocks.
@@espiebodespie Some people just love getting over, others can’t be bothered to grind for every penny from the beginning, others do like starting off broke. Then you have all the RUclipsrs that are going to publicize these exploits over and over. It’s a single player game so there will be no outrage that some are getting over the rest. And this is a major studio, so the idea that someone couldn’t code a glass case for space suits without a crack in it is laughable.

Exactly all Bethesda games are perfectly balanced with no exploits. Only packed full of gameplay features.
You only need to wait 7 hours (or 700 UT anywhere else) on Venus to respawn this chest. Even quicker than waiting a whole day.
I do 6 hours, but I guess it doesn't really matter lol

The infinite chest glitching may be patched, as all of the chests in New Alantis seem to be missing. Can someone check so I can see if it's just my game?

Glad you said console can't do this. I thought it was patched because I tried and tried but never glitched through. Unless I'm doing something wrong. Not sure what I would be doing wrong though.

I have been trying this in a few of the major cities after getting my consistency down. I don't know wtf makes this wall so special but so far I haven't found another single wall this works with and I've been trying for a good 8+hours
@@Chazebrimbor Ive probably tested this clip for maybe 20 hours, and yeah, it crazy that this wall is so special. We tested the same wall and floor just moved to another location using console commands and it doesnt work.

Today's patch killed this as there are no items in any of the chests within the glitched area including the 72K
Don't listen to this it still works also found you can buy stuff for your ship before doing this thereby increasing the amount you get
@@Rick11773 The money will be there IF you spend it. There's nothing there if you don't do anything beforehand. It's no different that laundering what you spend or sell

@@espiebodespie This would have been so much fun if it worked for me.. I can do the zip, but the wall keeps stopping me.. I am standing exactly where you were. I even tried to go to the right a bit. no luck.. I am on PC.. Is there a setting that could be causing it?
Update: I dropped the graphics from High to low.. It works now. thanks!

Dont think this works for everyone.
Have tried 325 times on Series X. I got the skipping to work. But no matter where i do it. I just hit the wall.
500 attempts now. Hit the wall on about 100.
So not working great.
Oh well. Dont think this works for everyone. The old way is much more reliable.
EDIT: On about 600th attempt it worked.
O will kot be using this method.😂

Patched maybe? I've done two full (planet time) 24H rests and the chest isn't refreshing.
Can confirm that it is not patched yet. At least on console. doing it right now with only a 6 hr wait on venus.
you have to do it on VENUS in the SOL system. time passes faster on venus due to the amount of time it takes to complete a rotation being much shorter. 7 hours is only needed on VENUS. you need 7 hours on VENUS which translates to 700 hours UT (Universal Time).

Definitely do-able on console. Currently doing it right now, and only waiting for 6hrs on Venus.
It can be a bit tricky do get the timing down. Definitely need to work on the timing.
What seems to work best for me is the close of the two 3rd person views while looking down.
Also, instead of just jumping straight up and flicking to the left, I stand on the left side of the line, jump slightly over to the right then flick left when I land.
This seems to give me the most success.
