The first generation eyes and mouth are made with a 8x8 LED matrices run on an Arduino Uno.
The second-generation Halloween mask uses a higher-res eye display (128x128 OLED) powered by a PJRC Teensy 3.2.
The third generation is built using smartwatch displays powered by a Raspberry Pi.
The big HDMI projected eye was built using Gakken diy kits from Japan.

How do you get the raspberry to output a single eye through HDMI.
I can only output the eyes in pairs and the Adafruit forum is not helpful.

I own a Gakken Worldeye. Is there any chance on getting this single eyeball effect as a video file that can be loaded onto a thumb drive & played on the Gakken Worldeye that way?
