  • I had so much fun in my garden today. I’m waiting to be able to enjoy some okra. I’m learning more on dehydrating and canning my produce. I can’t wait to show my new kitchen also.

I paused the video at your Zucs. Wow! I need rescuing 😢. How do you get such success growing Squash, and Zucchini. I been trying to get anything for 2 years now. I haven't gotten one out of 6 plants. Haven't grown any squash yet, but I live in Baton Rouge LA, so I know I'm able to grow those but tell me how to water, fertilize, and if pruning is something that you do. Sincerely, Michael Simmons. Now to watch the rest of your production. Hope to hear from you soon

@@meanpopsimogreensimmons5959 Michael this is my 1st year of getting zucchini and squash that big. The only thing I did different was adding a bag of chicken 🐔 manure to the soil for good drainage. You can also use sand for drainage if your soil is not clay. When my soil was compacted, my plants struggled coming through the ground. I just started my gardening journey, so I’m still learning. I learned a lot from watching @sweettomatovinehomestead . I wish you the best on your gardening. Enjoy the process.

Donna, I've watched the rest of your video, and I am stunned as to how well you grow all of those things in patched bundles like this. Your husband and daughter should b ecstatic on all the food the Lord gives yall. I know that part of my problem is that I only receive about 3 to 5 hours daily in my backyard. Wayyy too many oak trees from 3pm on until 5 or 6 as the sun sets on the west side. But I'd still love to know what processes you are doing that may assist me in spite of this dilemma. Awaiting your reply. Thanks, Michael Simmons
