Mr. Bull I love your beautiful work in your garden. Everything so vibrant and green. Cucumbers are nice and plentiful. You said you’re going to send me some of your round cucumber seeds. Beautiful scenery in your food forest. Just by watching it’s so relaxing and the water. Lovely garden. Thanks for sharing Mr. Bull. Blessings ❤
Awe, Bull, thank you for the mention in your video. You are too kind. Everything is looking so good, even in the heat. You have done such a great job. We may need to keep Uncle Papi on a leash Lol! I love the dancing with a chicken. That was so cute! Blessings to you and the family. ❤
Thanks for bringing all the joy dancing with the chicken/rooster! What a way to start the day 😂😂😂. Please share the Chinese brand of cucumbers-where did you get the seeds? Your garden of Eden is looking great. Good seeing Dr. Rickey. Glad you’re on top with your chicks keeping them healthy. Enjoyed the video.
@@TheBullsGarden that would be nice but I thought if you purchased them from like “Johnny’s” or baker creek I could just pick up a pack and save you from having to do anything. It would be no problem me picking up a pack. 😀💕
I just ordered them online and don’t remember the supplier, could have been dude selling seeds lol. Check online, if you don’t find them let me know no problem
@@TheBullsGarden hey Brother Bull. The garden has been struggling. Many plants didn’t survive the pests, then the heat. I think it’s turning around some though. Thank you for asking. I need to give a tour.😔🤷🏽♀️
Very beautiful garden. I am here in Ga also and my garden is trying to pull through the heat. With that many cucumbers you can make cucumber juice and it is very refreshing to drink during the heat. I just wash mine and juice it with ginger and lemons to taste in my juicer. I peel my lemons first before putting it in the juicer thought. I then sweeten it to taste with brown sugar to taste. My kids love it over the store bought juices.
Beautiful garden and tour. I see you like to grow squash too. I have been growing Box Car Willie tomato for a few years I like growing it, it looks so good in your garden. All your hard work is showing tfs😊
That is awesome! I love growing box car Willie’s they’re a good tomato. Hope the weather hasn’t been too rough on your garden, I’ve lost a few plants do to the heat
Your garden is looking wonderful. I'm glad I found your channel because I was beginning to think I was the only one fighting the heat. I've put in more beans and I'm almost ready to give up on squash because like you said they can't produce fruit with so much heat. But, like yours my box car willy tomatoes are doing their job. Keep dancing!!
I most certainly will keep dancing sister Cherrie, don’t give this heat will come down and the plant will rebound. Gardening is so rewarding and therapeutic, great gift from God
For the heat problem try using mico-misters on a timer. Adjust for 6 - 10 seconds burst every 30 minutes. Uses less water but it is much more effective at cooling the air and keeping enough water available for growth.
God bless! Uncle Papi still got moves. You're looking youner and in shape. Keep cadring for The Temple. I live that trellis over the watermelons. Those Cukes growing like grapes. You love your Zucchini. Loving the Bean Trellis set up. You are the Trellis King! Pray hour chicken recovers. Didnt know chickens got Ring Wirns. Lost my chicken and quail same day. Heat, when close to 100° fr 75° in one day, they weren't housed together. Quail in garabe, chicken in trailer in yard.
Thank you so much, the garden is thriving fantastically. So sorry about your chicks and quail, this heat been horrible. My chicken is slowly recovering showing good improvement
Hay Mr. Bull nice video. I use lots shade cloth for some tomatoes ,squash and pumpkins. It appears helping they are explosive and saw some flowers today. Mine will trellis like you're on my fence. Placed irrigation system it has helped. Thinking about burying some jugs, for water, see if help some hot areas. Take care and keep cool.
I'm in north Florida, and the temperature reached 100 and higher with humidity .I started watering more, especially the containers. Our temps are supposed to drop in the 80s with that tropical something, something out there, lol. Everything looks great! Paps funny as usual 🤣
Hey there Bull you got some smooth dance moves. Thanks for sharing this video with us. What was the name of the cucumber again. Was it the Chinese marigold ? I would love to try and grow that one. Thanks for always bringing us a great video. With alot of great information. Happy gardening
I started growing pumpkins purely by accident......last season I threw away 2 fairytale... buried one in the ground and one in a contaiker only to avoid rodents in my trash, and it sprouted vines this spring! Now I'm obsessed ❤ with this whole pumpkin growing.
Watch out, Bull! Papi be getting down with the ladies. Sumer heat is a pain with tomatoes. Tomatoes do much better in the ground or raised beds. Mine only need watering every dother day, except for the few in growbags. They need daily watering, sometimes twice a day (Sylacauga, Alabama). With the summer heat, it is best if you can provide shade in the late afternoon, or shade them with shade cloth. They stop flowering and producing when the temperature gets to about 95F; they go into survival mode.) Production will return when the temperature falls in September, but is that enough time for a harvest before the first frost? It depends on the size of the tomato, not beefsteak for sure. However, melons and sweetpotatoes thrive in the heat. My Sugar Baby watermelons aren't producing very well. With the heat picking up, I expect production will incresase. However, my Hearts of Gold cantaloupe are going crazy with production. I've got names picked out for my chicks, Goldie, Ariel, Bella, Raven, and Trixie. Goldie is already making it known that she is at the top of the pecking order, and Raven is going to be an escape artist. All are doing well, but I had to clean up two cases of poop butt, one minor, and one severe. I cleard off a spot behind my onion bed, and started assembling the chicken coop, Producer's Pride Sentinal Coop by Tractor Supply. It is okay for them to sleep in, but too crowded to stay in 24 hours a day (Three maybe four max, depending on the size of the birds.). I have a 12.5x10 chicken run on order that will be surrounding it. That should be plenty of room for them with 25 square feet of living space per chicken. From spring through fall, they will be shaded by a maple tree. The outside run won't be 100 percent predator proof, but will keep them safe from our cats, and the cougar. The chicken coop and its run will be predator proof, except for tunneling mice. Too bad for them; mice, voles, are fresh meat for the chickens. I'll have to add a few stumps, maybe a swing, and a roost for them to perch on, but I can do that later. I gave them clover yesterday, a probiotic to get their digestive system started, they chowded down on it. I'll have to pick more tomorrow. In about a week, I'll start adding a little bit of chick grit to their diet.
I’m so glad temperatures cooled off a bit today felt good. Your right, plant flowering and fruit setting should pick up when it cools down a bit. My cucumbers been growing like crazy in this heat though. I like the names you selected for your chickens, they’re the best backyard animal, they entertain me all day
That's right, Mr. Bull...show that rooster how to dance!!! By the way, our cucuzza pickles turned out yummy (though a little too salty). Might try yourself a jar this year, if you haven't already. God bless!
I had a tomato doing that. The roots were on top of the soil. I had planted it in the bag without enough soil. Remedied by covering surface roots with more soil, adding some mulch.
My husband became ill and had surgery. While he was ill and in the hospital something ate my veggies, cow peas cucumbers ,okra, herbs, marigolds tomatoes, beans and even a ten year old mint plant. .Iknow the heat killed some things also. So now it is the end of June what can I plant in July? With much prayer what can I plant or is it to late??I live in MIDDLE Georgia,
Cucumbers, zucchini’s, yellow squash, beans, you still have time to get a harvest, in Dacula. I hope your hubby has a speedy recovery ❤️🩹 it was most likely a deer, have an amazing day stay connected
I'm laughing because I just asked in another of your videos what part of the country you live in 😂. You don't have vine borers in your neck of the woods brother? I don't even try growing cushaw here because if it's not a machata type the borers will destroy the vines.
